  • Great budget table
Color: 8 ft Black
Table looks and feels great. Very sturdy and is definitely a bear of a table. I've seen that some reviews complained of damage. Not sure if they had wood around the sides like mine did but the wood definitely took the force of some beatings. The box had some damage but the table was unscathed. The pool table had no damage and was pristine. The felt isn't the best but it's a good felt just not super durable. Play is very fast. DO NOT HOP THE BALL. With that being said it's the best folding budget pool table I've ever seen. I would recommend this table to anyone who wants a table but doesn't have the space. The balls are nice, the pool sticks ehhh. Both were warped, one was worse than the other, but I already had sticks so I wasn't effected. This pool table is heavy, definitely need 2 solid people to move it and store it. But that weight means it's a solid table. Doesn't sway when u walk around it, or move the balls if it's slightly bumped. It comes with the table assembled, (2) sticks, cue balls, (2) chalks, and a triangle. ... show more

  • 7' table is great for folks used to bar tables, plays like a "real" table
Color: 7 ft Black
Decided to wait a couple months to review this table, and the bottom line is I am very satisfied and have spent many happy hours playing pool with family and friends, or just practicing. I used to be a pretty good barroom player (not a shark by any means, but good enough to pay for my beer many nights -- other nights, I'd be buying someone else's beer), and this is a good approximation of your average bar table. Sure, it's not a slate table, but it's surprisingly level and sturdy for an MDF table that's a fraction of the cost and hassle. Delivery: I see lots of people complaining about damage during delivery, but my delivery experience was awesome. I paid the $20 to have it delivered to my basement, and everything went off without a hitch. When I opened the box, I didn't observe any damage. There's a hairline crack in the plastic of one pocket, but I didn't even notice until a couple days later. Accessories: Yes, you're going to want to replace the cues as soon as possible, and the brush is the type meant for cleaning under the rails, not the whole table. However, the balls are just fine, and I've had no problems with cracking or chipping. The rack is a standard plastic rack; any pool player will be familiar with it. I saw someone complain about the quality of the chalk. Really? The chalk? It's chalk. It's fine. Buy a set of four house cues that go from 18 to 21 ounces, they're easy to find right here on Amazon. Also get a real brush to maintain the felt. I should also note that the table doesn't come with head or foot spots -- these are cheap, you just have to do a bit of measuring to set them up right. Sturdiness and leveling: At 170lbs, the table feels really solid and sturdy. Give it a shove to test, and it'll give the slightest little bit -- not enough to move the balls. As for it being level? I'm amazed. The wife and I got the big level, all set to adjust the feet and... the darn thing was level no matter where we measured. We got a smaller level, and started placing it all over the table. Level everywhere out of the box. I consider this a tribute to not only the table, but to my basement floor. Checked a couple times since, still all level. One note: it's in a room with a dehumidifier that runs automatically 24/7. I'm hoping that helps keep the surface from eventually warping. Playability: This is what really counts, right? Like I said in the tag for this review, to me, it plays just like an average bar table. The felt was a tad slow at first, but regular play and brushing fixed that. The rails bounce like they should, and the balls comes off them as you'd expect. My favorite "show off" shots are balls frozen against the rails -- I LOVE walking a ball all the long way down a rail to a corner pocket (tip: actual bar tables often have a groove worn under the rail that makes this easier), or banking a ball frozen on the far rail back to a near corner. Both shots can consistently be made on this table. Shots to the side pockets require a more gentle touch, just like on a "real" table. However, since this table can't be refelted, I don't want burn marks all over it, let alone a dreaded tear -- therefore I don't allow jump or masse' shots, which might bug some players. Bottom line: This was intended as a starter table to see how often the wife and I would use it, and we've been enjoying the heck out of it. My daughter plays in an APA league, and she's had fun with it when she visits, too. It honestly exceeded my expectations, and I'm very happy we chose this table. The wife is already talking about upgrading to a slate table some day, but in the meantime, we get to play all the pool we want on a very nice table. ... show more

  • Good table!
Color: 7 ft Blue
So I'm a regular at my local pool hall and am no beginner. However with a small basement I needed something I could practice on during days I'm at home, yet something lightweight enough that I could fold up/move if I ever needed to reclaim the space. The 7-footer was perfect for my needs considering all that and had the right price point. However if I had the space, I would've opted for a real 9-footer. First Delivery: It came within the delivery window and was brought into the basement. However I was disappointed to discover the corner of the table was partially shattered (balls could be pocked but the corner edge was completely missing. I opted not to get a partial refund and instead decided to do a return which was a breeze as the guys hauled it out of the basement for me after I resealed the box. Final delivery: I ordered a second time with high hopes, and this time it was in near perfect condition. Only the bottom side of the table had a few scratches as one of the cues escaped the bag and had scratched itself and the table up. Sticks: You get what you pay for here. Both the cues in the middle were warped and the tips needed shaping. I contacted customer service, had a quick response and they hastily sent me new cues in a couple of days. The cues were fine this time but the tips were shorter. Honestly though If you're looking to improve, I'd highly recommend you go out and spend some money to get a high quality beginner's cue...but otherwise if it's just for casual play/for kids the cues work fine. Balls: Surprisingly they were very high quality grade, exactly the same look, feel and weight as the ones at any pool hall, they could have been slightly more polished, but for the price it wasn't issue. Rack: Another great surprise, the rack was very good. I typically loathe plastic racks at pool halls because they don't do as well as wood. Right now it's working great, but that could be because the felt is brand new. Only time will tell. Felt brush: Works fine, but you may want to buy another set. Table: No joke it is heavy! You can maneuver it around yourself, but to truly pick it up and move it farther you need 2 people. It is easy to expand and collapse. And despite it being mostly wood and metal, it had a very nice finish. The cushions have good bounce. The pockets and nets are great...I'm actually enjoying the tight pockets as it adds an extra challenge considering the small table. Surprisingly the table is quite level, unfortunately my floors are not - but luckily the feet can be adjusted individually to level the table. The felt is quite slow as other's have mentioned, but hopefully over time, it'll be less slow through natural use. With the felt you have to be extremely careful with it as it damages easily, especially if you accidentally slide your cue tip into it. I already have a few minor blemishes on it that I likely caused myself. The problem with the felt is that it's akin to felt you'd find on window curtains, this isn't true pool table felt you'd find on a high-end slate table..that is why it damages easily. Frequent Players / Kids: I wouldn't expect to get more than a few years out of this as there may not be as much care required or there will be lots of wear and tear happening from normal use. Casual Players: If you play once in awhile and are careful, you'd probably get several or more years of enjoyment out of this. Serious Players: Don't expect to sit on it, do jump or masse shots on this if you care about the table. It's fine for practicing shots and all else. If you play regularly on bar boxes, you'd find this table quite similar. Overall: For the price point, and what the product provides - this is a good purchase. I plan on using it several times a week myself, so only time will tell how long this table will truly last. If the table wasn't damaged on my first delivery, I might've considered giving it 5 stars. Between the free delivery/return, customer service, and the product itself, it deserves at least 4 stars. I will update my review after 6 months. ... show more

  • Great table for the money
Color: 8 ft Blue
Very sturdy table and great to play on. Felt and side bumpers are as good as any other inside full size table I’ve played on. Full size 8 ft table with regulation balls. The pool sticks that came with the table are heavy and of good quality. Set up took minutes and we played right afterwards.

  • Very nice
Color: 7 ft Black
The billiards table is very nice. Came with all regulation size stuff in good condition. It's good quality and seem very sturdy and solid and easy to setup. It's kinda heavy but not extremely heavy that you can't move it around easily if needed. Nice and smooth while playing. No dips or bumps on playing surface. It like playing at your local bar or pool hall but with all the hassle of all the people. ... show more
