The media could not be loaded. There are hundreds of giant, clunky automatic watches, more suitable for men. And there are hundreds - if not thousands - of dainty, feminine, battery operated watches. But I’ve had it with the batteries! I wanted to get a watch that combines the function of the former with the looks of the latter. I started to doubt such a thing even exist after many months of search, until a month ago I found this one. It’s automatic AND pretty, very easy on-off bracelet latch, and even has a date window, though it was so tiny I did not notice it at first. I was afraid it would be thick, like the smallest clunker I bought earlier, but it wasn’t! It came in a nice gift box, and included a very handy bracelet length adjustment tool. Taking out extra links was so easy, that I did it without reading the instructions. Looking at the back of the watch, I see spring posts, which means it’s possible to replace the bracelet if needed with a different bracelet or a strap, as long as the width is correct (looks like 15 mm). Timekeeping-wise, mine runs a little fast, gaining about 1 min. in a week, which is not too bad. Comes with a 1 year warranty. Overall, I am delighted. Most definitely worth the price. ... show more

    • Beautiful watch; BUT, doesn't keep accurate calendar & can't see at night AT ALL!

I was so very excited for this watch. It was supposed to have everything I needed - beautiful, sturdy, calendar date and "indiglo". Well, calendar is waaay ahead, indiglo can't see time at all at night even though the dots glow (a very little bit). A week wearing it and so far so good. It's a bit fast, not sure if I can do anything about it. Is very pretty, and easy to read. The glow in the dark did not work at 3 AM. After 2 months it stopped because I left out of my wrist, now I can not make it work more than 1/2 hour. When it was working it was always 5 minutes too fast per week. The seller is sending another. 3 stars for this one, if the next works properly I will change it to 5 because it is really pretty. ... show more

The watch looks beautiful and was easy to adjust the band by taking out a few links. It is just the right size & weight without being chunky (like some self winding watches are), and the color is beautiful. Haven't worn it yet, so don't know how long the color will last, but I bought it as a dress watch to wear when I wear rose gold jewelry, so should last quite a while. ... show more

Have been looking for a mechanical watch, find the battery ordeal annoying. It’s attractive, had to spend 18$ to have the band made smaller , wish there were instructions to do it yourself. Have only had it a week, so far so good.
