I am sun-sensitive, so I need clothing that gives me good coverage for sun protection without being hot. Previously I've purchased Columbia brand pants, but those are $$$ so I was looking for a cheaper alternative - these are it! The brand name on the tag is OUTDOORSPORTS. Nothing on the pants says "Gopune," so I think that's the seller not the product. The SAME product is also listed on Amazon as "Rdruko", but that listing ships from Asia (at least when I ordered - looks different now) so may take longer. I've purchased both and they are the exact same brand/style pants, even though the listing photos are different (model in a different pose). The nylon fabric is lightweight and cool feeling. I haven't tested them on a really hot day yet (it's only April) but they feel similar to my Columbia pants so I think they'll be good. The fabric on these is stretchier, so between that and the elastic waist they fit a wider size range. I'm currently 182lb and 5'4", and both the XL and the L fit me. The XL fits comfortably loose, and the L is a snug fit, but still comfortable enough to wear. (For comparison, the Columbia Women's Saturday Trail Pant size 18W fits about the same as the XL of these.) I also tried a 2X, which were wearable (didn't fall down) but a bit baggy. I ended up returning that pair. The one thing these lack is any way to snap the cuffs up when you don't want the full length. I sew and have tons of snaps, so I just added some for myself, but obviously not everyone is equipped to do that. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, there are some logos on the sides that say "Outdoor", "Outdoor Fashion", and "Professional." Pants were just what I needed when hiking up mountains in Peru. It hailed and rained a lot when climbing up Rainbow Mountain but these pants kept me dry and were very comfortable. I would definitely purchase another pair for my hiking ventures!

I waited a little longer to write this review because I wanted to wear them more than ones. the pants fit right on length and i really like the elastic on the waist. i am a large person and normally i tend to buy pants and are either too tight on my hips or too long. I wear size pants 10-12 and I am 5'2".I ordered an XL and the length was perfect, I previously read that the pants from the inside of your thigh will rub, mine didn't, and i also have that issue with other brands. i ordered the black ones and the color has not fade or look different since i purchase. we normally hike from 8-10 miles 3 times a week with this pandemic. :) i just ordered another one for me and my daughter. ... show more

I ordered these for a last minute Alaska trip next week. I’m 5’5”, fluctuating between 155-160 currently, rectangular shaped and carry my weight in belly, butt and thighs. I ordered a large in black originally. I’ve only tried on the pants so far, but they fit very nicely, are very comfortable (almost pajama pant level) and feel like they’ll do well enough in a light drizzle and wind. They do have a light swoosh to them when you walk, especially if you have thighs that rub, but its not super loud. The cut is similar to a straight leg jean. My normal inseam is 30.5” but these are just right with my Merrell Moab hiking shoes. I have ordered two more pair for my trip because I liked them so much!! I’ll update more when I get back from Alaska. 1st update - order the darker gray and blue colors. Sizes vary between colors. The gray (picture makes it look purpleish) waist was the tightest and the legs were cut slimmer. Not enough to really matter but I could tell as soon as I put them on. The blue ones (pictured on the bottom of the stack) were the biggest of all. I lined up the left side of the pants to show the difference on the right and got closer for you to see. Again, not really a major problem for wise or something that would cause me to need to order a larger size. Update post Alaska trip - this were amazing The mornings started off very cool and on the days we hiked, we warmed up quickly. The pants were great at keeping me the perfect temp all day long. Great value and perfect for cooler weather hiking and walking. I wore thin leggings under when I walked in 30degrees and was warm the entire 2.5 hour walk. I wear 12/14 pants and 5'6" and ordered XL. Can move easily including squatting. I really like the pants and even wear then when running errands. Would like cargo type pocket (s) to carry iPhone. The two front pockets are deep - so nothing falls out. Washes easy and quick dry. Very comfortable and no binding at waist or thighs. ... show more

Pants are often too short for me, even though I’m only 5-7. These were the perfect length! I got a medium, they fit fabulously, I weigh about 135. Only downside I Forsee is that they might be noisy pants (wishy sound) and there is a bit of white print (wording) on the thigh that’s a little odd, it not huge. Overall 4.5 stars ... show more
