The media could not be loaded. First, the instructions were practically non-existent and VERY difficult to follow. The parts in the main diagram were labeled differently than mentioned in the assembly steps, and so I ended up putting the entire tool chest together with just the main diagram and referring back to the individual steps for close-up details. Once you have the top-most chest ready for mounting, note that only specific holes need to be screwed in. At first, I thought that the holes did not line up and I was cursing left and right only to realize I made a mistake. Once built, the drawers work well. The top-most chest drawers will only unlock/lock if the upper-most drawer is fully open. Is it fully secure? No. You can yank open the drawers with a reasonable amount of force, but it should keep the kids away with their prying eyes. Overall, for the price, it is a good buy, but do not expect heavy-duty quality for commercial purposes. The chest is not too deep (13") and fits perfectly behind my garage door. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it is a little smaller than I thought and the Homie Depot has a small brand name one that is a tad bigger for around $10 cheaper. It does not come with liner though and this order was already on its way though so I refrained and will keep this one. That said, this is a great little cart and tool box! The packaging was very very secure, it is impressive. One thing I recommend... check out the instructions before trying to pull the smaller box out from the main. There are screws holding that baby in there. I thought I was having a Mr. Burns moment but no... it was the screws. Assembly was a snap. Attaching the cart handle was easy. I used some of the packing cardboard pieces to put it on its side to screw in the side panel and upside down for an easier time with the casters. I do like that all drawers have the liner so you don't have to have ocd cutting moments trying to do that yourself. My keys for the top box were attached to one of the side handles. Overall very impressed with the product. I changed my mind, I'm going to give it 5 stars. Good stuff. ... show more

I must admit the reviews on this had me a little scared...about 25% of responders were either "meh" or dissatisfied with this product. Damage in shipping, size, and quality were mentioned often. I breathed a sigh of relief when I found it had been delivered with no external damage by FedEx to my door. I brought the carton inside and broke it down, and found absolutely no internal damage either. The tool chest was encased by Styrofoam and cardboard waffle, and it was pristine...no dents or scratches of any kind. All the parts were there, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me no more than fifteen minutes to have it assembled. So, this is a scaled down size of a normal rolling tool chest, it would likely not be of any value as a primary storage unit for a full scale workshop. But, for me, its perfect. I determined ahead of time that the dimensions were perfect to fit in a spot in my utility room. The smaller size was just right for the tools I want in the house. And, its of lighter weight construction, which is adequate for my needs. I find this unit to be an excellent value for the money and would buy it again. If I was more invested in hobbies or a job that required a rolling tool chest, I would have bought something more substantial. And one last thought, this item would be a great gift for a kid who is starting out with his/her own "big person's tools". ... show more

I had read a review that these things were a little small but I didn't think it would be this small. I was hoping for a little bigger. I'm about 6' tall and it comes up to my stomach. It is fairly solid and rolls pretty good on the wheels that come with it. It is probably good for holding smaller size tools, bigger tools have to go in sideways which limits how many items can go in the drawers. The metal is fairly thin and some times I feel like I am going to bend it. The drawers are also fairly solid and slide in and out pretty good. For any serious mechanic or someone that needs to store a lot of tools I would not suggest this. If you only need a small storage solution and don't mind the size then this is a good solution. ... show more

So I picked this up thinking I got a great deal. When it arrived it turned out much smaller and "petite" than I expected along with sus quality. It BARELY fits anything and pretty much a waste of space for me... I have a rolling cart from Husky and that holds more tools with the hardware and shell feeling much more stout than this thin walled flexing everywhere tool chest... I rarely have buyers remorse.. I tend to do alot of research and pretty good at spotting "manipulated" reviews... but this one got me.. Look for something else - you will EASILY find something larger overall and built better for cheaper - and I suggest your local big box store Team Orange and Blue as both have comprable rolling tool chests that will hold more and be of much better quality build. ... show more
