I like almost everything about this phone, really fast despite its age, has some neat features such as being able to control your music by waving your hand over the screen, sensors on the sides that can detect you squeezing the device that will allow you to snooze alarms or open assistant, and the camera is amazing, taking beautiful high detail pictures. No expandable storage sadly and the wireless charging just does not work (a known issue with certain Pixel devices). This is a Verizon OEM device and so the bootloader is locked on it not allowing for downgrading or custom firmware to increase the longevity of the device or allowing root for expanded features. The battery is about 80% its original capacity which does at least last me through a shift and is still fine for me for the most part. ... show more

The Pixel 4 is an amazing phone, even now. It's beautifully made, and I actually really like the smaller size. To be able to buy a phone of this quality for such a low price is great. (Only negatives I noticed about the phone itself are relatively short battery life and 64GB non-expandable memory.) And my "renewed" phone looked totally new. However, there are couple of things potential buyers need to know. First, the Pixel 4's last guaranteed Android update shipped in October, 2022. So there may not be any more updates, and Android 14 won't be supported. If you plan to keep the phone for a long time, that may become a security issue. At the very least, you will want to check into this. Also--and this is the more serious issue, to me--if you're planning, as I was, to avoid the EOL issue by rooting the phone and installing a custom ROM (Lineage, for instance), be advised that that may not be possible. Apparently there are two "levels" of unlocking for these phones. The first allows them to be used on any carrier. These phones are unlocked in that sense. The second "level" of unlocking allows custom ROMs to be installed. If your phone was originally from Verizon (and you can tell by looking up the IMEI), the option to do that is greyed out under Developer Options, and there is apparently absolutely nothing to be done about that. The combination of a soon-to-be-obsolete version of Android and the inability to install custom ROMS was too much for me, so I reluctantly returned the phone. If those issues aren't showstoppers for you, this may be a great choice. ... show more

It arrived early! The facial recognition had to be reset once already in the first week. Everything else is working well except for the battery not holding a charge which was expected for being a used device. What I did not expect was it to not work for wireless charging. I tried with two wireless charging devices one Google one aftermarket. I didn't work consistently with another brand new 1st generation Googe stand. ... show more

The charging cord that came with the phone doesn't work at all. I had to replace that cord immediately. The phone battery doesn't last very long and that is super disappointing. Other than that a nice phone was like the description.
