As others have mentioned, these are brittle. I had one break off in the panel I was replacing and I had to remove it again to replace the broken clip and get the broken bit out so it wouldn't rattle. But you get 50 of these things for cheap so I can't even take a star off for that. My hatch trim now no longer dislodges itself when I close the hatch, and that's worth much more to me than the few bucks I spent on these clips to fix it. ... show more

Installation was not a problem, actually it was to easy because of the fit, not snug enough and if you have to snap it on or off, they do not stay on my door( some of them slip off). Ordering 8 of these from Honda Parts now would have costed 38$. Locked in the top lift gate inside panel that came off where the other clips had broken or worn out. Use the rubber gasket included to reinforce the mounting when you push the outside body to mount the blip.

If you're looking for OEM 20 year old Plastic fasteners that break with the slightest bit of pressure then these are it. If you're looking for new plastic fasteners to replace yours then look elsewhere. You get what you pay for so I can't be too surprised but out of the 50 I broke probably 5-6 fasteners just putting them into their slotted holes and then another 5-10 trying to get them into their holes before I quit wasting my time on them. The ones that did get into their holes I don't trust to not break off on the slightest whim and will likely replace once I find better ones. UPDATE: Of the 50 Clips, about 20 of them broke during install, All of the 15 I used on my Door trim have broken at this time. I threw the rest away. ... show more
