Grips durability and comfort, give me confidence to execute my swing. Poor grip traction causes me to grip to tightly resulting in loss of power and control. Proper grip tension is one secret to executing the swing. I bought the jumbo sized grips that for my hands (76 yr old slightly arthritic hands) worked best. Durability appears to be great for a 4X a month player. I tried some newer type of jumbo grips but have had very poor experience with the durability of the thin film traction membrane, literally peeling off after a few rounds of golf. I like a thicker grip on my golf clubs. These are perfect for my driver and 3 wood. I just bought a new three wood and they had a regular grip on it. So I'll be taking off that grip in putting on the Golf Pride 4+.

    • Easy to Regrip
The Golf Pride jumbo grips were a great purchase. I have been thinking about putting new grips on my clubs and I am very happy that I made the choice. If you follow the proper way to regrip your own golf clubs it was a very easy process. just make sure you use a good amount of solution to lubricate them. i dropped some solution into the open end of the grip plugging the small hole on the other end with my finger. i shook it all around inside to get a good lubrication then poured it onto the tape on the shaft. i have already recommended the Golf Pride grips to a few friends and they have purchased them too and are very pleased. ... show more

    • Spray your Driver? Put on a Jumbo.
I always had the ability to bomb driver, but never the consistency. I’d spray so many balls 100 yards right, and that immediately stopped when another former baseball player suggested I try the jumbo on my driver. It feels familiar in the hands to a lifetime of swinging a baseball bat, but I have never hit driver this well in my life. And now 3W and 3H Hybrid as I’ve matched those up too. The ONLY club in the bag I can see this grip potentially not improving, is your wedges solely when you need to get wristy with a shot and throw the club head. Without question every full shot will become far more consistent, with much better contact, throughout the bag ... show more

If you want a jumbo grip, this is the one. Good when wet. Soft but grippy. Get the install kit with a hook blade. Old ones cut right off. Easy to get the new ones on. Don't need a vice.
