  • Works amazing!

Easy application to the hat. Doesn’t damage the hat or pull hair out. Definitely absorbs the sweat and prevents sweat stains in the front of the hat.

  • Works pretty well in it's primary purpose
Number of Items: 6
I'm a bald guy, and sweating through hats has always been a proble. I was excited to try these out so I could wear nicer hats on sunny days without worrying about ruining them. These pads adhere relatively well to most hats, but some designs just didn't fit the adhesive well, so there was some separation and needed to re-apply during the day. They definitely hold sweat and keep from any soaking through! I wore a light gray had to an outdoor wedding, and had zero staining though my head was beaded with sweat at some points. They do add juuuuust a tiny bit of width, so some of my hats felt a little too tight with these in place; most adjustable hats are an easy fix, but fitted hats may vary in comfort depending on how snug they were before installing the pads. Overall, these are recommended, and I would buy again. ... show more

  • Absolutely awesome! Have used them for 5 different hats
Number of Items: 3
As stated, have used this so far for 5 different hats, from trucker hats to athletic hats, this thing STICKS. I would HIGHLY advise anyone to apply this somewhere cool or room tempature and let it sit. I used this at Disney World and it was peeling a bit from my disney hat BUT I think it's because I applied it in the middle of the day when it was hot out. I let it sit overnight in the room and it did not move an inch the next day. My other hats have been worn during the summer in Texas while out on the golf course and absolutely no issues. Again, I applied this at home the night before so the adhesive could stick. May sure you are super careful and do not let the pads stick to themselves or it's game over. Peel off bit by bit and align the middle of the pad straight onto the middle of the hat and you'll be good to go. Make sure to press down on the pad to ensure it's all making solid contact with the hat! Overall, Amazing product, no more nasty stains ... show more

  • Only Covers Forehead But I Sweat All Over
Number of Items: 6
The inside of my new hat is developing cloudy (from presumably the substances in sweat) stains on the interior sides the hat where I clearly sweat a lot in addition to my forehead. I assume those who sweat a lot and wear hats may have the same problem. The hair on the sides of my head is cut short; there's no hair to block sweat, and even if there was hair, likely I would sweat through it anyway. The forehead isn't stained where I placed the No Sweat band - but clearly I need to redo it with pads on the sides. To further prevent the appearance of stains, I also use Hat Saver anti-stain spray on the outside. This helped loads with the external appearance after all my sweating, prior to trying the No Sweat product. My skin is easily susceptible to acne. I have not developed excess acne due to using the pads. I noticed the adhesive doesn't really stick to my hats. One hat is a straw with an internal fabric band, and the other is a cotton-y cloth. I sewed in a single, nearly-invisible stitch on each side of the pad to permanently attach it to the hat, and for the most part it improves the attachment of the pad. I will however be adding a third stitch to the 'top' of the pad, as it can accidentally curl down and stick to itself making it useless to me. I will likely buy this product again, however I am certainly open to more comprehensive, better-designed products. ... show more

  • Overall good value and function
Number of Items: 3
Does exactly what you want. The shape is created well to curve into the contours of the curved hat. It does last quite a while as I leave it in the hat for an extended time. It allows removal and repositioning so you can get the fit right. Designed to be removed and disposed occasionally or when you wash your hat. ... show more

  • Great advent for sweat absorption...and I'll never buy again. Let me tell you why
Number of Items: 6
Installation: This is very straight forward, simply remove the hat liner from the bag, remove the non-stick backing, and line up with the brim of your hat/helmet. I'd recommend putting it on just enough so it sticks, and then actually putting the hat ON your head, and pressing with the heel of your palm around the circumference of your head to make it stick into place in a fashion that actually molds to the position it will be in during actual use. Comfort: (2 Stars) They didn't think ahead to create relief cuts into the hat liner so that when it bends to the curve of whatever it's being placed around (most likely your forehead), that the bunched up fabric doesn't dig into your skin, which becomes softened and more sensitive due to being sweaty. So, I had to make these cuts/adjustments myself (see attached pic). This was time consuming and kind of annoying, but the prospects of no sweat/salt lines creasing through the brim and not having to worry about putting my precious golf hats through the washer, urged me to get over it. Use: At first, your hat will smell like a new car. Seriously it’s glorious. After a few days of heavy sweat absorption however, (e.g. golfing in arizona) it will smell like your sweaty gym shorts and you can't wait to get it off your forehead. Also, after having it on for about a week or so, the adhesive of the liner will have created a mildly sticky bond with the fabric that lines the brim of the hat, (even more-so with the dri-fit hats) so you'll have to pick off the gunky residue before installing a new one. This wasn't necessarily a dealbreaker for me either - the problem emerging here actually resides in the fact that it was quickly becoming apparent that I am only getting about 4-7 "uses" out each liner before it has to be thrown out and replaced with another. "But this is why they give you 6 liners in a package! DUH", you might say, and yes that is true. But I also have 6 other hats that need liners too. So now this becomes a money/economics issue. Value: 1 STAR (and why I'm never buying again) - Quite frankly, kudos to these guys for coming up with a product that people will have to keep buying over and over again in order to keep that wonderful new car smell wafting into their noses every time the wind blows just right. It really is quite nice - right up until it’s not. From a larger perspective though this is a simple math problem. Each packet costs $9.99, and your hat is presumably $24.90-34.00 (maybe more...or worse, LESS). So after you've replenished your stock of hat liners 3x, you may as well have bought a new hat altogether. Not to mention for those who actually give a flying hoot about how much waste product they create, you're just tossing these things into the trash and slapping on another one, thus contributing to the long and perpetually increasing issue of humans just------leaving their schitt all over this planet. On the other end, it so happens that a plastic ballcap washing frame/cage also sells for around $9.99, and you can use that over, and over, and over and ov-----you get my point. "But won’t putting it through the wash make the colors fade?”, you might ask? Well yes, that is possible. But so will the repeated use of wearing your hat out in the sun, and general use over the lifespan of the clothing accessory itself. How can you slow down that process? Just air-dry your hat (while inside of the washing cage/frame), and VIOLA - once you’ve washed it 3 times, you’ve technically made your money back, your hats stay clean, and there’s next-to-no waste product or need for repeat purchases (hey look, that’s money you can use to buy golf balls!!!! Or...ya know, whatever else you spend your money on you have to lie to your spouse about) . Solution: I hope this prompts the folks that make these hat liners to come up with a solution that is re-usable. Charge a little more to keep your margins in check (we'll understand), and maybe - just maybe you'll turn this product into the hygienically pragmatic, ecologically responsible clothing solution that it was intended to be. Sidenote: YOU SWEAT ALL AROUND YOUR HEAD. So you'll still get the sweat rings eventually, just in a nifty little pattern shaped like the sweat liner that will appear across the front of the cap, making it painfully apparent that you're trying to prevent the problem in the first place. Then it just looks stupid. ... show more
