Bought for 5yr old daughter. She is approx 41" tall and weighs 38lbs so she's a shrimp. I got the size 6 and it seems to be a little loose in some areas. I just received this today so I will update when I actually get her in the water. But the quality of the fabricsl seems very nice. It's definitely not super thick but my daughter is in swim class at an indoor pool so she's not in very cold water but since she is so skinny she shivers the entire time. ... show more

Just received the suit and had my 4 year old try it on. It fits perfectly. She’s slim and her waist is about 20-21 inches. She wears 3T clothing still. I’m optimistic this will help keep her warm for swim lessons. Her instructor says she’s chattering every time despite the pool being set to 85 degrees. She has hardly any body fat so no wonder!
