Features

  • This set comes with the 50 pre-cut 8x10 mats, 50 backing boards and 50 clear bags.
  • The 8x10 mat opening size is 4.5"x6.5" for 5x7 print. Color: Black
  • The mats are beveled cut with white core and 4-ply thick (about 1.4 mm or 1/16 inch). The backing is white on both side.
  • Please Unwrap the plastic wrap & Flip the first mat over to see the actual color mat.
  • The re-sealable adhesive strip of the clear bag is below the opening of the bag instead of on the flap.

I bought these to protect my vintage sewing patterns. They are a bit big but do the job. I'll go for the next size down next time. The seal is on a flap a little way down from the top which is great as it doesn't catch on the patterns. They seem to be very sturdy bags. I'm happy with them.

I simply must add another 5 Star rating to this deal. I am glad that I bought mats + backer boards + bags AGAIN in quantity; AND from Golden State Art. The black mats with white core really do add class to photos and art (in or out of a frame). The backer boards seem (to me) to be thicker than most backs (if provided) with store bought mats. The bags are crystal clear which makes me believe that they are Mylar/polyester. If these mats, backers and bags are not archival quality; they are pretty darn close. As a lifetime photo enthusiast now in retirement I have time to do justice to the many "special" prints laying dormant in boxes and albums. This is truly an exceptional deal for those who need a quantity of photo mats; or you could split this deal with family and friends. The product was in great condition, I accidentally got the measurments wrong. Be careful when ordering to pay attention to the inside measurements and the outside frame measurements. This is where I went wrong, I'll be ordering the correct size at a later date. Highly recommend!

Fast delivery. The quality seems good, however I would have preferred they were large enough to accommodate 8.5” x 11” documents. The 8 x 10 photos fit, but documents on standard paper don’t fit. Can’t find 8.5” x 11” but did find 8.5” x 14” from another vendor so will order that size.
