Got this style grout spreader from looking at online reviews/videos. Could not be happier! Tiled my new shop shed myself, and then grouted it with my Bro-In-Law. Smooth, easy to use, gets the grout in, and leaves little to wipe up on the tiles, maximizing your grout. Pro tip is you have to soak the sponges for a while to "puff" them up as they come vacuum sealed and thin as a cracker. I put them in a huge bowl and squeezed them occasionally to help them absorb water. Then fully dried them before use, and they worked very well. Sponges are compressed and do not expand. Totally useless. Plus they fragment. Company refunded for the sponges. Super honest and great service

    • Float works very well on bathroom wall tiles
Float works very well, able to apply grout and wipe off excess cleanly and reuse. Very little waste using this float. Sponges came vacuum packed and totally compressed. Not usable upon receipt. I left 1 out in the hot sun all day and it spring back to original shape.

Float seems well made, not junky. Used once so far for tile grout repair. Sponges are great, and come compacted

This package was a good deal at this price. The float did a really good job on the initial cleaning. Hardly had to do any sponge cleaning. Tile turned out great!

    • Sponge fix
Sponge quick fix! The sponges come vacuum sealed. To get them back in its original shape, I soaked them in water and squeezed it submerged. I then pulled it out and pinched along the side of the sponge while pulling each side and worked it to the center. Eventually, it'll look like a sponge again.

    • Good float - The sponges are a lie
This is actually a really good grout float but when considering price, do not factor in the sponges included with this float. They come vacuum sealed - compressed, with no air in the sponges. I removed them from the vacuum seal ... and they never (9 weeks) expanded. Sponges that are not spongy are pretty useless. ... show more
