This is actually a really good grout float but when considering price, do not factor in the sponges included with this float. They come vacuum sealed - compressed, with no air in the sponges. I removed them from the vacuum seal ... and they never (9 weeks) expanded. Sponges that are not spongy are pretty useless. ... show more

Got this style grout spreader from looking at online reviews/videos. Could not be happier! Tiled my new shop shed myself, and then grouted it with my Bro-In-Law. Smooth, easy to use, gets the grout in, and leaves little to wipe up on the tiles, maximizing your grout. Pro tip is you have to soak the sponges for a while to "puff" them up as they come vacuum sealed and thin as a cracker. I put them in a huge bowl and squeezed them occasionally to help them absorb water. Then fully dried them before use, and they worked very well. This grout float and sponge set is a great addition to any tiling project! The grout float is well-designed, providing smooth, even application of grout, making the job much faster and cleaner. It’s easy to handle and spreads the grout evenly without too much mess. The sponges are soft yet sturdy, and they do a great job of cleaning up excess grout and smoothing the lines. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sponge does tend to hold onto some grout a bit longer than expected, requiring a couple of rinses during use. But this is a minor issue, and the set still performs well overall. If you’re doing any tiling or grouting, this set is definitely a great investment.     • Float works very well on bathroom wall tiles
Float works very well, able to apply grout and wipe off excess cleanly and reuse. Very little waste using this float. Sponges came vacuum packed and totally compressed. Not usable upon receipt. I left 1 out in the hot sun all day and it spring back to original shape.

For the great price of the grout float they threw in 3 of the worst sponges , hours of soaking and still the same size as when received , about a1/2” thick
