Description

Size:5 Gold Medal Antistatic Bean Bag Refills are ideal to fluff up your bean bag or ottoman over time. If you feel as if you like your bag with more or less filling, there are several sizes of refills are available to suit your needs. The zipper tab is removed for safety and to prevent accidental opening. To refill, just pop a paperclip through the opening in the zipper slide and open to refill. Remove the paperclip when you've finished refilling and resume normal use.

These beans are advertised as being 3.5 cubic feet. In reality they are far less than that. Mine came packaged in a inside two boxes. Being highly formable, I placed them in the box with the boxes inside dimensions being 26 inches long and 21 inches wide. The beans only filled up the bottom 9 inches, making their volume come out to 2.84 cubic feet. This is just 81.25% of what they said would come. Not happy with them under delivering. ... show more

You will need more than you think. I ordered three cubic feet, but it really isn't all that much. Three cubic feet is 18"x18"x18" which looks a lot like a cubic foot to the naked eye. I probably need twice a much for my bean bag. If I ordered five cubic feet (20.5" on a side), it might have been enough. Now I am thinking I need to order more. Also, the stuff comes in a plastic bag, which is hard to empty. Recommend cutting a corner of the bag and pouring it into the bean bag. Once you have shook as much out as you can, cut open the bag and shake the rest on a nonstatic (metal?) mat and pour that into the bag. The static electricity makes emptying the bag difficult. ... show more

I bought a cheap "big joe" beanbag at a yard sale that had no more filling. I figured I could save money and just buy some new filling online. This stuff was a nightmare. It just came in a giant plastic bag with no places to open it. I tried putting it into the beanbag and cutting open the bag, but even then, TONS of these cheap, worthless balls seeped out all over my living room. They still pop up every now and then and they weren't nearly enough to fill the beanbag? $25? Save your money. ... show more

Had a flat big joe bean bag. Apparently a lot of the beads had melted after being stored in a hot attic. I got the medium size bag of beads and that filled it up. there were only a handful left over. If you had a completely empty bag you would need more or the largest size

Packed very badly and the packaging was damaged. When I opened the box and took out the bag all the beans spilled off. I bought 3 cubic feet - but it does not look like what I got was 3 cubic feet - it was so small.
