This is a very nice set of gold-tone earring hooks. These are the ones with the tiny ball already on its base – always a nice addition. The “gold” is a very pretty color – correct of “real” gold. Each hook appears to be sturdy enough for most expectations but not heavy, at all. The set was sent with an adequate number of silicone backs – the listing called them “safety back stoppers” – and a VERY SMALL jewelry cleaning cloth. The backs were in their own separate zip lock bag and that bag along with the loose hooks were in a small hard plastic case (good feature); then, the case and cloth were all in another zip lock bag. NICE CONFIGURATION FOR SHIPPING. I do not have any allergies nor do I ever really, necessarily, worry about metallic content when I am buying jewelry making materials. If that is a concern, please read the info provided in the listing very carefully. Great quality for the price. My go to for making earrings for my business Buzzedhoneyandglass. Occasionally one will be not usable but pretty rare. I have used the gold overlay ones as well. Can't find a better price anywhere.
