These are great to use at a Pirate Party. We put them into small chest to give out as party thank you gifts. There was enough left over to use on the tables as decorations. They are the size you would expect a pirate coin to be, and they were sturdy. The kids were playing with them for hours and they never bent or gave from all of the handling. These kids coins look like pirates treasure. They are made of a hard plastic but are a little thin. so they look more like treasure they have clear images on them that look like a molded coin. These would be great for a pirate themed birthday party or even a holiday event. Kids love them and are great for play. I am pleased with the overall quality of each coin.     • Great Collection of Gold play Coins
For the price this is a great collection of fake gold coins. I got these as I needed them for some product and book photography. I do have a few notes for prospective buyers: -These coins are just as shiny as they are in the photos. So if you are looking for a more authentic looking "weathered" coin this would not be it. Unless you are willing to put in a little extra work with some weathering painting. (Which is something I plan to do to some of them.) -On two edges of the coin there is a black dot where I am assuming it was popped from its mold. This is more noticeable on the perfectly round ones than the oddly shaped coins. Overall it depends on your intended use of the coins if these little things above bother you or not. I would imagine for party decorations- or just for kids to play with they are perfectly fine as is. Overall I do love the weight and the detail on the coins! They seem like they will hold up to not only normal photo use but also as tokens for games or older kids to play with. I really look forward to using them for some upcoming shoots! ... show more

These are fantastic plastic coins. They have a nice weight and shine bright. I am an avid board gamer and am always upgrading my games with high end components. I particularly like to upgrade the coins, from cardboard or plastic, to metal. These coins caught my eye because I had a game that definitely needed an upgrade, but didn't quite need expensive metal coins. These are perfect! exactly what we needed for our peter pan photo shoot. unlike most toy pirate coins, these don't have dollar signs on them. they also make a pleasing sound when they clink together. 320 is enough to create an overflowing vibe which i need. the two designs come in separate bags which i also appreciate. i like that theyre not all round and look a little aged. i might smear a little paint on them to dirty them up a bit, make them look a little older. i am really happy with these. ... show more

I got these for a DND campaign that I'm intending on playing in with some friends (I like to find ways to immerse myself). These coins are a pretty good immersion tool for the amount of coins you and your party members have. They aren't too light like plastic casino chips or something like that, but not too heavy like actual full solid metal coins. They also feel nice to hold and play around with. They're also relatively solid and sturdy as well. Of course, enough strength you can break them and bend them, but they're solid enough that you can mess around with them without having to worry about them falling apart. ... show more

First of all… There’s a lot of coins! This assortment has just a lot of coins… Over 300! That’s always an advantage. Other toy coin packages usually give you some measly amount but these really provide you with a treasure trough! And the material and construction quality are a step above your Standard play coin selection you might find in the discount aisle! I thought that there were going to be 4 different types of coins because there are 4 coin designs shown. There is actually only 2 types of coins and the four pictures are the front and back of the same coin. I was disappointed to only get 2 types of coins instead of the 4 I expected. The coins are better quality than some I've had before and I especially like the oddly shaped coins as they are unique and more "realistic". These coins will be fun to play with. ... show more
