Another update in May 2019: After contacting GoldenHawk they instantly told me not to worry and they're shipping out a free replacement the next business day. That's what I call great customer service! Update in May 2019: It still turns on and off and the red LED is lit, but it quit charging my phone - no idea why. The mount which I questioned in the beginning seems to be fine and holding up well. Original comment: The mount seems a bit flimsy and time will proof if it's good enough and holding. Very disappointing is that so-called waterproofed cap - it's not even sitting tight on it and water will go in for sure. That's especially disappointing since they made such a big deal out of it in the description ... show more

Easy to mount. On/off button is nice so that you don't have constant drain on the battery if connected. Cover for the USB ports also great as we hit quite a bit of rain on our motorcycle ride with this. Only downside is that I wish the charger had a bit more of a secure mount to the bracket, but other than that, it has worked great. ... show more

    • Used to be good but now its garbage.
UPDATE: Had to lower rating because the second one I ordered didnt work. Exchanged it for another and it also didnt work. Very dissapointing. Also theyre being very cheap with a measly plastic bag for packaging and no sae battery connector. I connected this to two different sae connections on two different bikes and it didnt work both times. I’ve been using this charger for about 10 years on my 2015 Triumph Bonneville. It works great without any issues and works even after being rained on without the ports being covered. The light for the power button makes it convenient for you to know when it’s on or off so you won’t end up leaving it on and draining your battery. it’s small and compact enough to not be an eyesore on the bike. I like it so much that i bought another to replace the charger on my other bike. Don’t know why i bought a different kind for that bike! ... show more

Fault - Not long enough to be ran to compartment bay. I had to purchase an extension SAE cord for me to be able to have a quick connect for he battery tender. I could have ran it under my seat but I wanted it to be convenient when I want to plug and unplug the usb or battery tender. Overall I like how it sits and the option to have it on and off with the LED light. Simple but it should do the job. ... show more

    • It will clamp almost anywhere front or back of a motorcycle.
I like that it is moveable and plugs right into the plug that came with my motorcycle that charges the battery. My wife uses it for her phone and I use it for my mp3 and mic that is bluetoothed to her phone. Great buy.
