    • Really works to curl my impossible to curl eyelashes, no danger of burning
I am really impressed with this product. My eyelashes will not curl--I've tried so many eyelash curlers, included heated ones, all the supposedly curling mascaras, etc. This is the only product that has had an impact. I get more of a crimp than a true curl, but I'll take it! I might be able to get a curl if I tried curling at a couple points along my lashes, but that takes a bit more patience and dexterity than I have. Crimping makes a big difference in making my eyes look more open. The product is a base warmer that you fit a traditional eyelash curler (that comes with the product) into. The warming really happens with the pad in the eyelash curler, not with the metal. I don't fully understand how that works, but there is no danger of being burned whatsoever--this is a very comfortable warmth that is enough to make a difference but is not hot enough to cause harm. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the cord set up, which is a bit clunky as it comes with a USB cord and you need to provide the plug. there also isn't an on/off switch, so you have to plug and unplug and storing isn't that easy. I'm also wondering what happens when I need replacement pads as the box says the pads are specially designed for heat absorption (but maybe the electronic component won't outlast the 2 pads the product comes with). My eyelashes are thick and straight as an arrow! I had no problem in warming up the eyelash curler in base, my problem is that my eyelashes will not curl. I tried using waterproof mascara before crimping, let the mascara dry & then crimped, nada. I used the warmed up eyelash curler twice and left it crimping for 30 seconds on each eye twice, barely had any curl. Eyelash curler is too big, I would not buy again. I typically wet my eyelashes to soften them before using eyelash curler, tap them dry & have no problem with getting good curl the old-fashioned way. ... show more

    • Charging input breaks easily
This isn't a bad product just not as durable as I would have liked. It did warm my eye lash curler and delivered miraculous results. The issue is the port on the side of the unit started malfunctioning a couple times after repeated use. At first moving the cord around until the light on the warmer lit up was sufficient. Now I have to push it in hard and secure the cord in order to keep it on. Also, I noticed after the green light appears letting you know the unit is ready to warm your curler it only stays on for a short period of time. Possible safety feature? Eventually it turns itself off and the only option to get it going again is to unplug it and plug it back in. Adding a on/off feature would help because it would eliminate the repeated plugging in and unplugging the charging cord. I did start a return on this item but am warring with myself. If I sent it back I wouldn't have the same impressive results having the warmer gives me. Like I said the curl on my eyelashes is incredible. I am slowly accepting that one day my warmer won't turn on and I will have to throw it away. Until then i'm rocking great lashes. If there was a different option i would sure take it. ... show more

I always read the negative reviews when I buy anything. I saw several people saying how it didn't heat up really well, or there handle broke, or it stopped working so I'm going to address all 3. So far, I haven't seen any issues with it. The base is pretty light, but the actual curler feels just like any other curler you can get at any drugstore. I haven't had any issues with it just yet. It seems pretty sturdy and I can only imagine if it broke it would be from not putting the curler into the base correctly. As far as people complaining about the temperature, it gets hot enough. I don't know what people want, it's not supposed to get as hot as a regular curling iron you use for your hair. When I put it to my eyelashes there's warmth. If I put it to my eyelid I can feel the heat. Obviously that skin is more sensitive so it'll appear hotter on your eyes than it would if you're testing it with your hands or fingers. One thing I noticed is that if you leave it on for too long it does shut off. Since there is no on/off button you literally have to unplug it and plug it back in. That may be the issue for those that said it just stopped working for them. As for me, I absolutely love it!! I use it even if I'm not wearing makeup just because it's so quick to heat up while I'm brushing my teeth or combing my hair, etc. I have such dinky lashes so this in combination with my mascara really helps. 🥰 ... show more

This is a small warming unit that should fit any standard eyelash curler, although the product comes with its own curler and two heat resistant pads. The idea is that a warmed curler will curl eyelashes quicker and more effectively than an unwarmed one. I worried the curler would get too hot for the sensitive skin around eyelids, but the temperature is just right- warm, but not hot. I had no worries about burns. The warming base charges using a standard USB cord, so if you are plugging into a standard wall outlet you'll need an adapter. I just used the one that came with my phone charger and it worked fine. The first photo of my face is before using the curler, the second is after, and the third is after using the curler with a small amount of mascara applied (no other makeup). I'd say my lashes were definitely more visible and easier to apply mascara to after using the warmed curler. If you don't typically wear makeup this may not be for you, but great if you do regularly. This product definitely works as advertised- I'd say it's a good value. ... show more
