I ordered this for note taking, as I didn’t want to spend so much on the Apple Pencil as I was just starting to take notes on my iPad. It ended up working really nice and when I accidentally broke my last one, I ended up ordering this same exact one. It charges directly on my iPad so no separate charging needed for the one I have atleast. I honestly find it does its job extremely well and so I give it a five star. One thing I did notice is that it’s tip wears with time especially if ur a student and taking a lot of notes. However it does come with two extra tips so I guess that covers it. I’ve had this pencil for about two months now and I can honestly say that I love it! Prior to this pencil, I had a different iPad pencil dupe that I needed to plug in to charge and the battery life drained so quickly. So top feature I was looking for this time around was wireless charging. I love that this iPad pencil charges wirelessly on my iPad so I never have to worry about charging it. There is a little circle button on the top that you can use to back out of apps, etc and that’s an awesome feature and very useful as well. There’s a light around the circle button that lights up different colors to indicate battery life, but mine mostly stays on green. I’ve used the pencil for an extended period of time (about 2 hours) and only then did it turn yellow, so pretty awesome battery life. It fits comfortably in my hand and is easy to use and write with. This pencil writes very easily and precisely. I cannot be bothered with Apple prices for an actual Apple Pencil and I’ve never had one so not even sure what features they boast, but you’d be crazy not to save $ and get this one instead! I’ve been using this IPad pencil daily for a couple of months now and can honestly say that it is a great product. I am not a techy person but had no problem with set up, it connected to my IPad seamlessly. I love that it attaches to my IPad so is never misplaced, and it charges automatically- I have yet to use it and find it low on charge. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold and writes well.
