We have an almost 6 year old whose birthday is coming up. Our son loves bugs and things that glow and so these are perfect. There is a tiny little glow stick that slips into a groove on each soft, clear, rubbery bug. They look really nice and don't have any odor. The sizes were perfect to hide in places or set out on tables, the glow sticks were bright, the variety in selection was nice, they last through the 6 hour party. Read description carefully, total # of pieces does not equal bugs, but I put these in the treat bags for my child's Halloween party at school- it was a good alternative to candy and the school has restrictions on food items for allergy concerns. The 4 year olds loved them and my husband and I wore them on Halloween night for safety trick-or-treating with the kids in the dark. I’m disappointed. I saw 50 pcs. The descriptions says 50ct. I assumed there were 50 bugs. Not 15 bugs and 35 glowsticks. I’m disappointed because I thought this was a great deal and I can’t afford to buy two more bags for the count I needed them for. I needed 20 and 30 and even with 15, I can’t make the 20 count I needed. Already opened the bag and not going to be able to return. The bugs are much bigger than I thought, the glow sticks are tiny and slide into the bugs and they look great. Going to have to find another use for these now since I don’t have enough. ... show more

I got for the goodie bags for my grandson's bug themed birthday party,and they were a hit . Easy to use and the kids laughed at the way the glow sticks went into the end of the bugs . The glow sticks are small so not for little ones,the glow sticks lasted about 15-20 minutes which was good and there are a few extra glow sticks in the bag . The strings were long enough for the kids ,we had the party during the day at a play zone so it was too light outside but there is a area in the play zone that is darker it has stars and neon colors with a black light and these popped really well .
