Not sure what you can say about a usb cable in a review. It connects to my pc just fine, and works great! Cable is very sturdy and built well. You can tell there is a thick wrap around the cable, so even if the cord takes a beating, it seems that it will last over time. The connections are snug as well. The total length of the cable is about 60 inches. And that is without uncoiling or stretching it. You will want your PC to be somewhat close-by unless you will need some type of extender to reach. So far this cable has connected my keyboard to my computer. It has stayed connected. That is what you would expect. What was not expected with the shear amount of insulation and braiding around the cable. It is twice as thick as the braided cable it replaced. Since this is for a keyboard, it means that the cable retention clip can not be used. I suspect that in some cases the cable may not fit in a keyboard's cable channel. This is not a "deal breaker", but it does mean that I will need to figure out a solution to strain relief. ... show more

Do you even build custom keyboards if you don’t have a coiled cord? Definitely not. Really like this product, as I do most glorious products, but my one complaint is the stiffness and length of the cable. The length after the coil is fairly short, and it’s excerpt stuff. Hard to maneuver nicely or cable manage. Other than that, would buy again. ... show more

This product is very well made, but it's way way way over spec'd. If you have poor cable management and people are walking on your cables or rolling over them with their chairs, then this is probably good for you. But, if you want to cable manage and have your cable laying a specific way, or bend around corners then good luck. This cable is too thick and cumbersome to deal with. Unfortunately, the black plastic on the USB-C end of this cable is too thick to fit in my keyboard, a Ducky One 2 Series. It seems like it's good quality, but I can't test it to confirm. I'll see if anyone I know wants it. In my photo, the Glorious Coiled Keyboard Cable is on the left and a random USB-C cable I have is on the right. If the plastic were the same thickness as it is at the USB-C connector for another 1/4-1/2", I would probably be able to use it. I wish there were a description with a measurement or image with a ruler on the product page to give you an idea of the size before purchasing. ... show more

    • Why is the coil so big?

I was expecting like, roll of quarters or king size sharpie thickness, but this coil is more like a big bite hot dog or a cucumber. I mean I get it's for the aesthetic but the chonkiness makes it a bit unwieldy on my desk. Looks cool tho

It was probably worth it. I have a Razer Huntsman and while the cable it came with is excellent quality, I wanted something a bit more stylish. After searching for a number of cables including Razer's own, I found that based on customer and product images, the coils were deformed or uneven in low-priced cables. Pros - Packaging came in excellent condition and so were the cables. - USB-C port is not a cheap shrinkwrap but is properly molded plastic. In other products the shrinkwrap appear to cause some issues with fit. - I have a long desk and as long as this cable is, I used an extension and it still works fine. - Coils are even and stay in shape. - Sturdy cable. Cons - A bit pricey. - The cable is wrapped in some sort of nylon which makes it too shimmery for my liking. Despite the somewhat low number of reviews, glad I went with this cable.
