What a great costume!! My 7 yo daughter wanted to be a zombie after seeing the zombies in the Disney Halloween parade last year. To me, not an appropriate theme for her age. This costume, without the chain, was the compromise. It was such a great choice! She had so much fun, and got tons of compliments everywhere we went during Halloween season. She even won first place for best girls costume at a community Halloween party. The only downside is there is a lot of gauze that gives the costume its shape and character. Gauze is fragile and it did separated from the waist seam in a number of places. She wore the costume to 4 parties/activities and after each one I had to do a little bit of hand sewing to repair the costume. Amazing costume. Purchased for my nearly 7 year old daughter who wanted something "spooky-scarey" this Halloween. This costume has a beautiful, ethereal quality as it is made with an overlay of tulle-like fabric and gauze. Take some time to unfurl all the strips as everything will be in a big ball when you take it out of the package. The sheath underneath is a more sturdy polyester fabric. It actually comes in two pieces, the dress part of the costume is sleeveless and the sleeve portion is a shrug with hood/veil attached. The chain is surprisingly life-like and can be left off alltogether. There are loops along the sides of the dress for the chain. If you drape it back and forth across the front without wrapping it around the body, it is more than long enough! This costume runs MUCH larger than typical Halloween costumes for kids. We ordered the small (6-8). My daughter is 48" tall and weighs 50 pounds. The costume drags on the ground! There is more than enough room for her to wear clothing underneath for trick or treating in the chilly midwest fall weather. I couldn't be more pleased with the shipping (took 1 week)! ... show more

My daughter loves this costume. She wears a size 7-8 so I got her a medium and it fit great. It was a little long but the bottom is just strips of fabric and made it very easy to snip to the length you need. She looked awesome. My daughter got tons of compliments, definitely wear warm clothes underneath. We also had to cut the bottom of dress which are frays, she was tripping on them. Very cool costume

My 3 year old is so excited for Halloween 2020! She picked this costume on her own. She is almost 4ft tall & only 32lbs so I purchased a small. It fit true to size, it’s just a little long. The stock photo they are using is from a current costume for sale at Spirit Halloween stores. The brand that shipped was a very 1990s dated version, California Costumes. It is not as elabprate and is nearly all grey. Looks cheap. Do not buy.
