You ladies out there know the drill. You have to a pair of dress pants for a trip and nothing in your closet will work. So I found these pants last week and description sounded like what I needed. It was Prime Days, so I made the lightening purchase. I have to admit that when I packed, I wasn’t very nice to them. I just threw them in my suitcase. When I opened my suitcase, I was happy to find no wrinkles or creases, they looked great. Well I wore them for what I had to, then rolled them up and put them back. Now to the good part! On the trip home, I decided to wear them again. For 850mi, I sat in the car, went into restaurant’s, and stopped to stretch. These pants never once felt tight, binding or constricting in any way. They looked as if I’d just thrown them on. And they wash great. Regular Cold, hang dry. So if you are still just thinking about buying these? Here’s what I can say: A) These travel like a dream. Just throw them in an Overnight bag and go. B) If you size up like I did for more of a pant look? These go from the office to date night in a snap. Add a pair of heels a fun necklace and your ready to go. They look terrific with a nice sweater or tunic. (If you’re short like me these things matter. You want the illusion of being taller!) C)For the price, you really can’t go wrong and every woman needs a pair or two of good black pants. I know as the end of Fall approaches, I will order a few more pairs. I ordered a size S. I'm petite, 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, fairly active (exercise at least 4-5 times a week). This hits me right around my ankle, which looks great in heels, booties, sandals, everything. I wear these pants to work. They are almost like a thick legging material with a slight sheen. I like that they have front and back pockets. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are very high rise on me, they come up right above my belly button and are slightly loose around the waist area. I fold the top down to make them tighter, which is not a big inconvenience and I make sure my shirts are a bit long to cover the top. They look great with a blouse and blazer for work. I've washed them in regular washer and dryer with no issues. I wish they were a bit more tight fitting around the waist but I still really like these pants, so rating it 5 stars. I like these pants, they are comfy, and work well for dress pants at work even though they are stretchy like leggings. Sadly the elastic band is not great. It twists in the pants top so I have to fix it throughout the day, and everytime I stand up, they slip down. I know I have big hips and butt, but I’ve never had this issue with leggings style pants before. It’s almost like it was sewn too tight in the crotch area, so the pants constantly want to slink down. These are almost what I was looking for. They are skinny pants. That’s what I wanted, but there’s a few problems. They waistband isn’t sewn well and the elastic flips all over and folds up and they don’t stay up well. Then the front pockets always come out and they’re white lined pockets so you can see them really well when they come out. The top of the pants constantly need adjusting all day long. I am 5’0” and they fit at the top of my ankle perfectly. So, if you’re tall they may be a bit short. I got the 2x. In the end, I would buy them again with the flaws and all if I can’t find more of this style somewhere else when the winter hits. I am not highly pleased with them, but sometimes you have to settle for less just to sort of get what you want. So, if you’re cool with some mediocre pants that only serve the purpose of having the skinny, short legs then this is for you. Again, I would rebuy them, I just won’t like them any better and I would hardly suggest them. ... show more
