Because the fabric is rayon, nylon and spandex I wasn’t sure if it would be substantial- it is. It has a thickness and body of a jeans fabric , but the touch is silky so tops glide over the leggings and don’t drag or bunch. It’s cold wash and line dry only - and I just laundered mine and it’s holding its shape . It has a wide( 11/2”) flat smooth waistband which gives a sleek look. It can fold in half around the tummy area from sitting but rebounds easily . Size is accurate. It has curved pockets instead of slanted , which I worried might stick out but the once you push your hand inside the pockets when you put on the garment, they stay flat and smooth. The pants stay sleek looking with no creasing or wrinkles at all. They look fabulous. Highly recommend! ... show more

The material is pretty thin and has a sheen to it even though they are a true black. When I first took them out of the package I thought they were going to look like leggings. I am 5'4 and 180lbs with a long torso and short legs. I usually wear a regular in length; petite on very rare occasions. These pants are soooo long on me! I'm going to have to hem them up about 2". They are also more straight cut that skinny cut at the ankle, which is fine, I just didn't expect that based on the photos. The fabric doesn't feel substantial enough to justify the cost so I won't buy another pair but I'll keep these. I don't expect them to hold up really well but we'll see. *Despite other reviews, the pair I received do NOT have ANY pockets.* ... show more

Although the pants were of excellent quality, the fit was not good for me. Per the recommendations, I ordered a size up. They were still very tight and the material too heavy. I thought about ordering two sizes up as that may work, but although the legs would have been comfortable, the top would have been to big.
