After reading reviews on many brands, I chose the Gildan brand. I've worn woven boxers for almost 30 years. My favorite brands have been Izod, Tommy Hilfiger, US Polo, Nautica, and Ralph Lauren Polo. So, I know a good pair of boxers. It seems many have done away with the button fly, which is what I always looked for. Izod still has it, but their quality in material has gone down, and their prices have gone up. I honestly never use the fly for it's purpose, so my wife sews them shut, so I don't have to deal with a gap. That being said, I really like the Gildan brand. This is the first time trying them. The quality, and the color schemes are nice. The length is perfect, and they don't have the horrible saggy bottom that some boxers have. They're not extremely nice like Ralph Lauren, but for the price they're way above par. I also like that they have a normal waistband, and not a briefs type waistband. It just makes them look classier, and it's more comfortable. Some reviews had complaints on the wrong sizes being in the package, it the wrong colors, but mine came as advertised. Overall, I am definitely pleased with this purchase. I would definitely recommend. I'll update if any discrepancies along the way. ... show more

The mediums fit and are not too loose; I don't feel like they're going to fall off. For reference, my 31" Western Fit Levis fits tight, but my 31" 514 Levis requires a belt. The cloth is thin, but I think this is a good thing as it promotes moisture wicking. If you're struggling to decide between small or medium and your waist is similar to mine, I think you could go either way, depending on if you prefer a tighter fit or not. ... show more

The Izod boxers I've been wearing for decades are no longer available, so I'm looking for a replacement. These aren't it. While the waist band is reasonably soft, there's a large seam that runs around under it that defeats that purpose. The overall fit was similar to the Izod, but the fabric is not as soft. The deal-breaker is that their size XL is too tight, so, I returned them. Note: the ones I returned are black, so you'll barely notice the skid marks. : ) ... show more
