When we opened the well wrapped packaging, which was nice enough to not worry about wrapping, we took the parts out. The main board is warped and won't lay flat on the counter so it will be the same against the wall. Then the small wine glass holder shelf was broken. This made it unusable so we started a return and replacement. The second one that arrived was not broken, but warped just like the first one was. I was able to assemble it and we will hang it, but try not to look at the Non Flat position on the wall. But it looks nice, good gift. They just shouldn't make the thing out of wood that hasn't dried as they warp. UPDATE 2-8-23, I had been contacted by the seller regarding my concerns and they generously offered a refund of my purchase price. Very good customer service. I expressed that I like the item as a gift but the warped back, and initial broken glass holder were disappointments. Thanks for the assistance from the seller. ... show more

Is it the best cut of wood? No, was it perfectly manufactured? No. But it was nice and easy to put together. The woods light weight simple pine I believe with an okay quality of stain. Overall not bad and my sister loves it
