  • Great gift and fun activity.
Style: Poster
This poster has to be up there with my favorite purchases ever, because it really opened me up to watching a bunch of classic, critically-acclaimed movies. It is always a good experience to scratch another film off the list to see its own little art piece associated with it. My only gripe with this product is that scratching off each square leaves residue that makes looking at a near-completed poster a little bad. Could either be a problem with scratch offs or the coins I am using. All in all, great gift for anyone (including non-film buffs). ... show more

  • Great for the hard-to-buy-for folks in your life!
Style: Poster
I thought this was a great novelty gift. I purchased for my hard-to-buy-for husband who is quite the movie buff. He has already seen about half, but seemed to find a good deal of satisfaction in being able to immediately scratch some off. He is now up for the challenge to see those that still remain. The list of movies is obviously quite subjective. I think it covers a lot of the common "must see" ones, but there also seem to be some more obscure ones on it. I will note that some blocks cover more than 1 movie (like Star Wars - multiple movies go into one scratch-off block). I think this is OK, but it does mean that there are over 100 movies referenced by the poster. The poster material is very heavy-duty cardstock. It is so thick, in fact, that regular Scotch tape did not work for us in holding it up. It definitely does not feel cheap! The movies, starting at the top and going left to right: 1. The Shawshank Redemption 2. The Dark Knight 3. City of God 4. Pulp Fiction 5. Amelie 6.12 Angry Men 7. Blade Runner 8. A Clockwork Orange 9. The Deer hunter 10. Casablanca 11. E.T. 12. UP 13. • Fun, interactive poster!
Style: Poster
This is such a fun poster! I bought it as a birthday gift for a friend who hasn’t seen a lot of movies. She loves that it’s interactive in terms of scratching off a box when you’ve watched a movie, so it’s enticing her to actually sit down and watch more movies. I took off one star because of the packaging. Like other reviews stated, the poster box was opened and dented and the poster itself already had some parts scratched off during shipping. It wasn’t too bad but still an annoyance, especially when it was a gift for someone else. Still a fun concept though! ... show more

  • Incredibly Convenient
Style: Poster
If you are anything like my fiancée and I, you have a h*ck of a time trying to find a movie to watch together. We are both broke college students who are unable to afford big fancy dates, so, what do we do? We order take-out and watch movies. This is a great product that helps us make up our minds. In fact, the 15.00 that I spent on this product has probably saved a few hours of my time that would’ve been spent trying to find a movie. The product did come slightly damaged and a few movies had one or two scratches in it. HOWEVER, I would still buy this product for my fiancée and I because of it’s conveniency. I’m proud of this purchase and have no regrets. ... show more
