I've had another set in blue for over 10 years. I've never had a chip, break or any issues. Exactly what I want. My old set has had zero complications. I decided to buy this set primarily for my upgrade in color. Aesthetics. I use in microwave VERY little and i use for less then a minute. Note: Microwaves have different strengths, mine is low. I've ONLY ever washed my set by hand. I cant currently review long-term use for current set, but as long as materials to make dish set haven't changed, I'm sure with proper care, these will out last me. I'm currently middle-aged lol. I will update should anything change. So currently I'm giving a 5 star review and recommendation. *in regards to color: If you're looking for absolute pure white, this is not. Against solid white there is a very slight pink hue in this set. However it's so slight and with its crackled appearance, and with my distressed farmhouse kitchen theme, its NOT a big deal to me. We stopped using paper plates and ordered these instead. They’re sturdy, wash easily, and attractive. I got the open box deal, so even better. I will probably order another set.

These plates are really nice to look at but on the flimsy side. I should have realized they were not ceramic plates, which is my preference. You can’t microwave these plates. Just an FYI

I struggled with this purchase. I have been looking for melamine dishes for awhile. My neighbor has a set which is very realistic. You cannot tell by looking at them that they are not ceramic. These are not that! They are thinner than I expected so clearly appear plastic. When I unpacked them, the first thing I noticed was the weird shape of the plates. The outside ring curves downward. Im really not sure if this is intentional so they stack well, but it’s another dead giveaway that they are not ceramic and a disappointment. They are, however, nice and light weight. They also fit together very snugly when stacked so they fit easier in my cabinet. They are very easy to clean because of the glossy surface. They arrived in excellent condition; no chips, broken pieces, or scratches. I have only had them for a few days, so I can’t speak to durability yet, though washing them in the dishwasher was no problem. Some reviews complain about the dishes having issues with use in the microwave. Personally, I’d say they need to read more carefully as the description clearly states they are not microwavable! I ordered these because I wanted casual easy dishes to use anytime, even with guests. These do fit that bill and I am keeping them. They are nice looking. I was also attracted to these because they have matching platters, which I also ordered. I think the price point is spot on for what you get with these versatile dishes; they are great for casual dining on your couch, setting a table, eating poolside or in the backyard, look nice enough to use with friends, and make an easy go to option for convenience eliminating the need for paper plates. These are very light you cannot put them in the microwave . we just hand wash them, but I love them so that I don’t have heavy dishes to pick up

In this busy day and age, why the heck would I want to hand wash any dishes? These are definitely NOT dishwasher safe! I just threw away four bowls that had tiny bits of plastic flaking off, that would be CONSUMED if used. Gross, cheap quality, and very unsafe. But they're cute, so is that all that matters? ... show more

I ordered 3 differant colors and loved all of them. The only problem I had was one of the White Salad plates was broken when I received it. I would love it if they would send me a new one. This would make my set complete. I am sending a picture of the broken plate. Thank-you Penny Evans
