This is a classic game it nice to have one doe outside. The ropes are as straight or big as the picture make them seem. Even with the spikes it takes some finagling to get the ropes semi straight. I pulled it out once so far to play with.

Searching for a family game substantial enough for my rambunctious extended family and suitable for all ages, I selected this oversized tic tac toe set. It has been a huge hit, providing hours of competitive enjoyment across three generations! At first, I wondered if a game as simple as tic tac toe could really entertain a dozen family members at once. But the giant size actually works perfectly for dividing into teams and playing rounds of elimination. Moving around to toss the bean bags adds a fun element of activity too. This set includes super durable wooden posts that slide easily into grass or sand to stabilize the rope grid. The included anchor spikes work great for keeping it in place on windy days if using it in the yard. The carrying case provides compact storage between uses. I love that people of any age and ability can play by adjusting the toss distance - kids up close and teens and adults farther back for a challenge. It’s also easy to set up indoors during winter months to continue family competition! The media could not be loaded. It may just be tic tac toe but playing it like this is so much more fun, especially for kids. All the pieces were well made, although the rope board needs a little time to lay flat after being packaged. I don't recommend using it on wood or slippery floors. You definitely need a rug under it indoors, or use it in grass or sand outside. It's just a bit pricey for what it is, but that aside, it entertained my kids and their friends over fall break! ... show more

This game is very well made and so much fun. A great twist on tic-tac-toe. It isn’t as easy as you would think and it is very addictive. You just want to keep playing! There are five bean bags of each color (red and blue) and they have X’s and O’s on only one side of each bean bag. We tried our first games inside because it has been rainy for days here where we live. It works nicely inside. The bean bags do bounce a bit more on floor and carpet then they probably would on grass. The bean bags have a good weight and the grid is just large enough but not too large to make it easy. You do need to make ground rules- Does the bean bag have to be all the way in to count or can it be on a rope? If too many bags don’t make it in the grid, do both players pick up uncounted bags and keep throwing? Etc. My family really likes this game, especially my 16 year old son.
