Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed has all the iconic gear and gadgets, from Proton Packs to PKE Meters and Ghost Traps, that fans would expect and new gamers to the universe will enjoy when playing as a Ghostbuster. Ghosts have multiple abilities in their arsenal, like possessing objects, of course sliming, and more, that make haunting all the various locations a blast to play. In addition, many will recognize the Firehouse and Ray’s Occult Books that act as the game’s hub. This is where players will choose missions, customize their characters, practice firing their proton packs, and explore all there is to learn. And yes, you will hear the original film actors reprising their roles as Ray Stantz and Winston Zeddemore, along with some new friends!

So there's a glitch in rays occult store but once you get in the glitch just keep signing out and trying again and again and you will get out. They don't warn you of this on the switches but I'm warning you on here. Its a good game worth every penny but the glitch is fixable.

The glow in the dark cover is super cool. Find it odd I payed 29.00 but it's only good for 20 gold points through Nintendo (assuming that is a detail you consider). As for the game, keep in mind, it has singleplayer but it's the same game mode with bots in place of players. Game looks good and plays mostly nice. Lots of texture pop in and every so often the game does bug out. Also want to note I was loving the game and finding quick matches, then the switch version got out of sync with the other platforms. This lasted about a month. Fixed now but hoping it doesn't become a trend for the updates. Switch userbase alone is apparently not big enough to get a reliable game. As for progression. Very nice, gives you tons of tools to make a ridiculous original buster or even recreate some classics. Clearly a lot of love for the brand went into this and it shows. This is a really fun game honestly. But might have limited appeal to you depending on your love of the franchise. ... show more

Received multiple copies of this game in an attempt to find one that doesn’t have this defect. So far I haven’t been successful. I’ve also spoken to friends and others whom purchased the game and found the cover art to be bubbling and fogging up and flaking off the glow paint. What makes this collectors edition so special is the fact that the cover art glows in the dark. The paint in a short amount of time begins to deteriorate and crack. I think the publishers manufacturer isn’t aware of this. Please spread awareness!!! But the game itself is flawless. It’s just a shame that multiple (if not all) copies have this defect and people aren’t talking about it. ... show more
