A little pricey for a towel but for something that I use 50 times a year, worth it. I like it because I can take it to the green and then pop it on my bag super easily.

    • Great Towel
This should end up being an excellent golf towel...as long as it holds up in the wash. Let's start with the fabric, which is a nice, high-quality waffle weave microfiber. This is my second favorite golf towel material ever, right behind cheap, rough cotton that is a little abrasive. WW is perfect for expensive putters that you don't want to scratch up, which is exactly what I'll use this for. The edges are nicely finished with dense overstitching. The colors are bold and bright. The magnet is strong and should never allow the towel to un-stick from whatever it's stuck to. It's rubber on one side, and covered by the towel on the other, so using that side, it would be difficult for the towel itself to scratch anything, even if it was dirty. I do wonder how it's secured to the towel, though. Will it hold up to multiple wash cycles? Time will tell. Comes with a carabiner attachment, which is unnecessary because of the magnet.     • Pricey but the best towel out there for golf
Spending 40+ dollars on a golf towel may seem excessive, and for many it will be. But I can safely say this is the nicest waffle-knit golf towel I've used. The other generic branded waffle towels flatten out over time, and the waffle dimples are not that deep. They don't feel like much more than a rag. This towel, on the other hand, is VERY thick and the waffle patter is very pronounced. Does a great job soaking up moisture and trapping dirt. This towel also looks great and has a nice sturdy magnet. Blue is very vibrant and the red edging is also very colorful. For those not familiar with Ghost Golf, they make high-end golf accessories. Their golf bags and gloves are premium, in price and in quality. Their towels are no different. Great balance of style and function...but at a hefty price. This towel definitely is running into the diminishing returns range, so if you prefer to save money and get a cheaper towel, then you won't be missing out on much in comparison to this towel. Definitely a bit of halo-effect going on here, and Ghost is pricing this towel as a premium product. If you don't mind paying the premium and simply want the best, then this is the towel for you. ... show more

    • A nice towel, but the magnet feels gimmicky to me
I'm not sure what to say about this. On the one hand, it's clearly a nice quality golf towel. The microfiber cloth does indeed come across as premium. The waffling is quite deep and the towel serves well on the golf course, cleaning clubs and balls effectively and quickly. And the little magnet does stick into the top of the putter grip and works fine with the one on the towel. That said, in practice, i'm not sure what the magnetic function is for. More often than not, I'm riding in a cart. Rarely do I bother to grab a towel when walking to the green or to any other shot. So the towel remains clipped onto my bag for occasional use. Perhaps there are players out there who walk more but, even for them, the bag is usually right there. Why would the towel ever be on the ground? I had to manufacture a moment to test the magnet out. It worked for sure, but I can't see using it with any kind of frequency. Maybe you would want to stick it to the cart, but why? It just seems a little gimmicky. Look, it's a really nice towel, as they go, but the magnet thing feels like overkill, even if it works exactly as advertised. Maybe there are golfers out there for whom this is a crucial function , but it seems to me like a lot of money to pay for a fairly low priority item. 4-5 stars for quality, but not sure where the real value is. ... show more

    • Great golf towel, quality materials
This is a really nice golf towel and is made from quality materials. The pockets in the waffle weave are quite deep and serve to clean/dry my clubs nicely. I'm not one to carry a towel with me from the cart to the green so I really don't take advantage of the magnet; the towel stays clipped to my golf bag. I have tested the magnet just out of curiosity and find it works quite well to enable the towel to be picked up with clubs or with the metal pin put into the grip of my putter. Perhaps when cooler weather arrives and the ground is wet in the mornings I'll be taking the towel with me - but in 100+ degree summer heat in central Texas there's just no need to take the towel with me away from the cart. ... show more

Great large towel with a nice clip. I really like that the magnetic is covered in the rubber case. Held up well in the washing machine on first use. Perfect colors for my bag. If anything, the towel is slightly big as it hangs down nearly to the ground on my pushcart. The very first use was in scattered showers, so the towel got wet near the ground. That helped to clean the clubs, but had to sling it up and rest on the top of my bag. Not sure what to think of the magnetic. Trying to figure out when that is useful, maybe on a driven golf cart. I’ve been using just clipped on my bag. I dont see a reason to pick up with a club, then you would be just not using the clip. The magnetic holds very well though. ... show more

I love this towelI I gave it away as part of a golf door prize. It works as advertised, and it's a huge towel - big enough to clean your clubs many times over. The material is tough and should last a very long time, even after repeated washings.
