I am 5'4" and weight about 140lbs. I'm a size 4-6 in women's clothes. The sizing guide says 4-6 is a size small so that's what I ordered. The material is thick and looks like good quality. The bottoms looked very big at first but when I put them on, they fit perfectly. The bottoms were so soft and comfortable. I loved the shape of the bottoms too, they covered my stomach pouch. Unfortunately, the top was way too tight. It barely fit and was squeezing around my chest. Also I ordered the "light green" color and it looks more light blue instead. The bathing suit is cute though. I'm going to try to order a medium but I'm worried the bottoms will be too big. UPDATE: I got the Sage Green in a size medium and it fit PERFECTLY, top and bottom. So much more comfortable and the exact shade of green that I wanted. I'm very happy and loving the way the shape of this bathing suit. ... show more

This swimsuit is so soft and does not dig into my skin. It keeps the body lines smooth and flattering. It does seem to run a little big as I am normally a large and needed to size down to a medium in the tops and bottoms. It has a lot of stretch. I think it also depends on how you want the suit bottoms to fit. I wanted a cheekier look, and the size large left a lot of bagginess. As others have stated: buy it for the bottoms, expect to give away the top. If both end up working for you, then congrats! I’m not sure of the statistics on this, but most women I know buy a different size top and bottom when purchasing swimwear. XL bottoms were comfortable on me. Snug enough not to move around too much, but not so tight that they cut into my curves. The XL top did nothing for me. I imagine it would work if I had the same size boobs, but artificially implanted to sit stationary. I don’t recommend the top if you have natural breasts above a C cup. If you are planning to wear the top, size down if you can. It’s really cute, just runs large and lacks support. I’d buy more colors if it were possible to get them separately, but I’ll already be donating the top from this set. Feels like a waste. Classic Amazon throwaway culture. Very cute style and soft, fit exactly like shown on the pictures and color I picked was spot on. I’m usually a L on top and an XL in bottoms when it comes to swimsuits but an XL for both fit perfect. For reference, I’m 5’6, 200lbs, a 36C and definitely more bottom heavy. If you’re any bigger than a 36C I would be a little worried about coverage on top. I love this suit. I’ve been looking for high cut hip bottoms and these are perfect. It’s thick. Stays up. Fits perfectly. The color is vibrant and pretty. I love the top too. The little twist is so cute yet doesn’t sit weird under shirts like some do. This swimsuit is almost exclusively for looks. There is no padding in the bra but that is the style it is intended to be. The material on both the top of the bottom are two layers (lined) and doesn’t feel cheap. The material is very soft and comfortable, but I would not recommend this swimsuit for a high intensity activity like surfing because there is just not much to the top. I will be keeping this and wearing it for lounging by the beach or the pool. I will definitely wear it in the pool, but just not on a waterslide because it does not offer a lot of breast support and could easily slip off. There is also not a way to tighten the top to customize the fit: what you see is what you get. The bottoms are made to fit in the Brazilian style, but I noticed that the material gets a little bunchy at the top of my butt. If I pull the bottom out of the void, it’s a little hard to arrange the material so that it looks even going down my rear It is better to just pull it into the crack, adjust it on your hips and go. Overall, the pure white color is beautiful, and it is not transparent because it has two layers of fabric. It is a good value for your money if what you were wanting is a suit for looks rather than for sports. I am always an XL on the bottom, but if I were going to order this suit again, I might size down to a large because it is made to go between the cheeks. ... show more

I'm not the type of person who feels great showing skin. I have a VERY hard time finding bathing suits and i really took one for the team buying on Amazon versus in person. Listen, I'm extremely happy w my purchase. TO PAINT THE PICTURE: I'm 5'3", 184 lbs, usually a size large. I got a little bit to my hips, size 34B in my chest. Size large fit me PERFECT for top and bottom. Very comfortable and flattering on my body. The bottoms cover my hips which I LOVE. However, if you have a bit more to your chest or bottoms I'm sure it's frustrating not being able to buy the tops and bottoms separately So just be aware like some of the comments. Overall; I got the color purple, quality seems to be pretty good for the $$ spent. I'd buy again! Really excited to have a bathing suit I love and feel good in!! ... show more
