I needed acetone, nail polish remover, to help with a decorative painting project. I looked at the box pharmacies but they only carried the saturated polish remover pads...a no go for me. I finally looked on Amazon, and there the good ole' faithful Cutex stood ready to be of service. Of course, I ordered a bottle (for a whole lot less money than a box of the saturated pads cost). It did the trick. Now my trusty little bottle of acetone, nail polish remover, is stored on a shelf in my craft room (and I know exactly where she is) where my family knows not to trespass under severe penalty! This inexpensive little chemical applied in a tiny amount with a cotton swab can help to delicately remove unwanted paint or aid in remedying a mistake in a detailed painting project (not a huge project like painting a room, but a craft project). I am thrilled and relieved to have my supply replenished and to know right where to got to get more if need be. This is the best nail polish remover I have ever used. If you have gel nail polish, this is the stuff to get! I soaked tissue in some of it and wrapped it in foil for a bit, then just used an emery board to remove the top coat, then put on the soaked tissue and foil again for a bit, then the color comes off.
