As someone who’s normally a “dress in all black, facial piercings and colourful hair” I’m not exactly into the Kawaii aesthetic. However, I bought this case and it’s so cute I literally love it so much. The case has a super soft feel to it, but it doesn’t scuff and the picture hasn’t scratched or faded at all and I bought this before Christmas. My two issues with the case are the fact that it’s a bit snug when it comes to the charger and it’s hard to take off the shell on the joycons, but if you just remember to push down slightly to make sure the switch lights up so you know it’s charging, that problem is moot. I’m still not quite sure how to get it off, so if I need to change controllers, it’s a little difficult. But those are tiny problems and honestly I would sing this shops praises all over ... show more

SUPER cute case, I'm in love! It's a really nice shade of purple in person and the design is good quality. I was worried about how it would feel in my hands when playing but the case is thin enough to feel comfortable and not bulky, yet it looks pretty protective. It fits well to the Switch and was easy to put on! It doesn't seem to be dockable (although I haven't tried squeezing my Switch into the dock, so it might be), but I personally don't use my dock so it's fine. :) Also, the buttons are a bit hard to press because they're pretty much level with the case now... I think I just have to get used to it. >.< ... show more

I love how cute the design is. I love that it's not slick and fingerprint smudge proof. However, this is definitely not the right product for someone who's main goal is to protect their switch from accidental drops on the floor or any hard surfaces. The material is not thick. It's more of a plastic. Not exactly soft but not rigid either. It's a weird in between. This will protect the switch from casual impacts like tossing it on a bed or couch. Anything hard? I wouldn't test it out. However I do recommend this purely for how cute it is and it will protect from scratches! ... show more

My main concern was whether this would dock. Some people said yes, some said no. For me it’s a yes! It might be a snugger fit but when I made sure to align it properly it was totally fine. So happy about that! (Be aware that Switch docks themselves do scratch the screens and since this case makes it a tighter fit, I’d just make sure you have a screen protector on your Switch.) Doesn’t get in the way of my cord charger either! This case is the cutest thing ever. Has a nice smooth matte feel, not the sticky sort of velvet feel. So easy to put on and doesn’t disrupt the function at all. The only button that’s harder to get is the one on the back of the joycons to slide them off the switch, but you can still get to them so like I’m totally cool with it.
