Grabbed these and I’m glad I did. I had forgotten I planned to slap a sticker skin prior lol but luckily comes with some extra stickers. They work and look so cute. Makes me adore playing my handheld that much more.

I had to use a nail file to basically shave down the bottom side so the stick on stickers stayed in place on the actual buttons

I took off half star from the review because It was difficult to work with the stickers at first but I was able to successfully attach the stickers with the help of a tweezer. So, get your tweezers ready if you are going to fit this button caps.

    • Enough stickers to use with a case

Very cute. I'm glad I read another reviewer advising to use multiple stickers stacked to use it with a case. It worked beautifully, all buttons functional. I ended up using all stickers for one color. 2 for x & y, 3 for a &b (my system is old so some buttons are a little depressed). The directions say you don't have to use stickers for the + pad up & down buttons, but 1) I'd recommend it and 2) with the case I had to stack them as well. My only complaint is that I prefer a silicone cover to my buttons. However! 1) It's very difficult to engineer a silicone grip without a lip to hold onto and 2) the original buttons are plastic anyway. In manufacturing future products they could get around this with only the paw prints bring silicone. If you make this, please let me know! ... show more

They're so cute I love them!! They're kind of stimulating with all the bumps, which is good because I have ADHD and it helps me from switching games every 2 minutes 😂 my only nitpick is the dpad paws are all facing one direction but it doesn't bother me too much. Like other reviews said, if you have ANY kind of case over your joycons, you'll want to use two adhesives per button (which can be found under the buttons in an instruction card). I'd recommend using tweezers, and folding the second adhesive in half. I had to use 3 adhesives on 2 of the buttons, which made them a little wiggly but they're pretty stuck on there. You might not need double adhesives for the dpad, as it seemed to stay clicky but I did anyway since there were just enough. ... show more

While they're very cute, easy to put on etc, once they're on the buttons, it's very hard to use the D-pads on the Switch. You want to push up? Surprise, you're actually pressing left now regardless of how carefully you press. The Letter buttons work pretty well however. So if you ONLY use the XYBA buttons, I would recommend it. But not for the D-Pad decors. ... show more

I got all the buttona on and tried to put thr case i bought on and ran into nothing but problems. I wish i read to stack the adhesive before hand but now im out of adhesive..

    • Absolutely adorable, though the paw buttons tend to twist
I LOVE these! I've had them since January of this year to replace my old Animal Crossing themed button caps after I saw Geekshare started selling caps. These are hard plastic caps that you install on top of the joycon's buttons via adhesive stickers found in a flat carboard stock. Removing the cover on the adhesive sticker can be a bit tricky but once installed the buttons do stay on. I have both the analog cap and the regular button caps on my two respective joycons and they are very responsive. The analog stick got a little stuck using at first but with use it worked itself out. The paw buttons also don't really stay in one spot and have a tendency to twist around the button. Those minor gripes aside, these little paw themed button make me happy.
