As for the position of R5 (at the back of the screen),if the Zero resistance on R5 position is soldered, the screen can be powered by HDMI. If there is no soldering, the screen can not get power from the HDMI. If you solder the Zero resistance on R5,but still can not directly light up the screen via HDMI cable(because of the insufficient power supplies from the output terminal), you need to connect Mirco USB cable to power.The USB cable is not only a power cable but also a data cable for touch.
