This toolbox is very solid. Definitely not made of plastic. All of the lower drawers lock into place when closed so you do not have to worry about them opening when moving the box around. It has plenty of space for lots of tools and equipment. The top part is the largest while all the other drawers are a little smaller. The box it comes in is packed well to avoid dings and dents. Good, heavy, fairly sturdy toolbox. Better than others I have tried. (I bought and returned the Big Red one, for example, as it felt flimsy and the drawers were jamming). Fairly smooth action. Maybe could be even smoother with some WD-40 or similar? Haven't tried yet. Lacks drawer padding. Nice metal handle.     • Great portable hand tool storage

This works great for keeping my wrenches, sockets, extensions, ratchets, screwdrivers, pliers, and more organized and portable. I don't know what the box is rated for, but I keep it stuffed with around 200 pounds of tools. Maybe the handle and latches can handle it, but I prefer to carry it from underneath instead of the carry handle just in case. Very good choice for portable tool storage, and if some side handles and another drawer were added I would like it even more. The drawers can barely fit some smaller compact low profile wrench organizer racks for full wrench sets which makes sense for a compact box. I stuff the top with a decent assortment of 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" square drive SAE & metric sockets, extensions, ratchets, a cordless 1/4" ratchet, and a 1/2" cordless impact. Keeping such a large assortment of tools in a compact tool box is a challenge to stay organized, so I would recommend two or three of these for on the go organization: one for SAE sockets and wrenches, one for metric sockets and wrenches, and a third for pliers, screwdrivers, and other tools. ... show more

This is a well constructed toolbox and is a great value for the price. It’s a little small and I can see myself outgrowing it at some point, but for now it’s holding a full range of types of pliers/cutters/etc., SAE and metric wrenches, SAE and metric socket sets (x3) and 4 socket drivers, and the top is filling up with miscellaneous larger tools. It’s a great set for someone who isn’t going to work out of a toolbox every day, but will be doing a fair amount of home/vehicle work themselves. ... show more
