This lift system and accompanying gambrel will save your back! I hunt on my own land and typically shoot a deer when nobody else is around to help me. It can be a chore dragging the thing back to the house, but it's often impossible to get a good sized deer hung up to dry age by myself. I didn't have that issue this year! The GearOZ Lift System works exactly as you'd hope it would, and made lifting this years deer a piece of cake. The pulleys are solid and it's not difficult to thread the rope through them properly. There are some pretty typical instructions that come with it that you can puzzle through. If that's not enough help you can find videos online that show you how to do it. The gambrel is impressively robust and assembles easily. Just make sure to put it together in the correct order and you won't have a problem. The gambrel's design holds a deer solidly in place - no slipping or sliding. The rope that comes with the system looks thin but it clearly is strong enough for even a large deer. I'm quite pleased with this system and happily recommend it to anyone looking for a pulley lift system at a very reasonable price. ... show more
