Great product that's easy to work with because of its flexibility. It is a true 8-gauge wire with excellent color-coded insulation. I wanted to move the battery for my boat trolling motor ten feet further aft, and I first installed a test piece of ten-foot 1/2 PVC pipe through the ribs along the side gunnel of the boat. The wire was flexible enough that I was able to gently feed it through the PVC without having to remove the pipe, insert the wire, and reinstall everything. Well made 8 gauge flexible multi strand wire. Measures .260 over insulation and .160 over wires. Very flexable. Will buy again if I need heavy 12 volt wire. Great for winch power leads.

Insulation is transparent and a little thin for battery wire. Otherwise looks nice and should work just fine on my golf cart.

Smaller than I figured it would be but I rewired the power and ground on a 1979 evenrude 75 hp and it does just fine for what I'm using it for. Wish it was thicker but I don't know guage sizes so I guessed. Works fine tho

I don't have much experience with wiring and found it difficult to strip this wire. I had to make 10 pieces for my project, crimping terminals on each end, so it was a lot of work. The very fine copper wires inside cut easily, so it was hard to strip them without losing a lot of the tiny wires, but I got better at it with experience. Be sure to contain the in something as you are working, because those fine wire stick in fabric and get lost on tables and floors, and they hurt like little needles if you get pricked by them, They fit nicely through all the spaces they needed to go and are easy to work with because of their flexibility. My project of wiring 4 batteries in parallel via a busbar was a success! This will make you laugh maybe...but the red wires are very pretty! ... show more
