I was worried that the red would wear or chip off after use but last week during hurricane Ian I had to pull a f150 that was stuck on the beach If they didn’t chip break or bend under the tension to get him out I’m sure they will last a very long time

Product arrived with good packaging, BUT both shackles had paint chips exposing the metal which will rust. Probably sent returned items. Update: This was a one star review. I contacted Gear America directly. They sent me a postage paid return slip and I returned the badly chipped shackles in their box. Gear America had already sent me replacements before I had even shipped the defective shackles. The replacements were actually new in the box. Gear America stands behind their warranty.
