  • It's got what plants crave
It is amazing what electrolytes do, how they aren't even a thought for so many people, and how quickly their deficiency can jump up and bite you. Since I've greatly cleaned up my diet, been losing weight, and being much more active outdoors I've slowly realized that I was not getting enough electrolytes in some situations. Twice last summer I got hit with mild heat exhaustion while hiking and that was when I put the pieces together that just drinking water and fruit juice and eating a bit of food was not doing it for me on hot, active days. This year I picked up running and so I have been yet more active outdoors in the heat than ever before. The difference drinking this on a hot day in them middle of a run compared to plain water or even fruit juices is just amazing. After I've had a drink I can taste the succor and satisfaction of the salt on my tongue for minutes afterwards. I've had days where my run feels tough and my heart rate is high, then after 30 minutes I stop and drink some of this and suddenly I can feel the relief, my pace picks up while my heart rate comes under better control. I've found out I need to figure out my day-to-day/prehydration routine a bit more, but this provides to much help and relief for those who actually need those precious electolytes and aren't getting them elsewhere. Also, I know there are a dozen fancy tablets or more trendy electrolyte options, but how expensive and pretentious can they make salty sugar water? For me, finding a simple, economical option and not going through a ton of disposable packaging were important aspects that led me to gatorade endurance. ... show more

  • One of my fav flavors
Flavor Name: Glacier Cherry
I had no idea you could buy Gatorade mix in this flavor! It’s one of my all time favs. I use this mix to get my husband to drink more water. I mix a bit of this powder with some filtered water and, suddenly, it tastes good. The best part is this Gatorade mix has real sugar in it! Not the fake crap like Stevia and Aspartame (which it just came out causes cancer). It is a bit expensive, but if it gets my husband to drink water every day I’ll buy this mix until Amazon doesn’t sell it anymore. There are other flavors that have natural sugar, too. I’m going to get those at some point, too. Make sure you check the ingredients on the mix before you buy. Not all the Gatorades have real sugar. In fact, 95% of the water flavor mixes Amazon sells don’t have sugar. They have fake cancer causing artificial nonsense. Trust me I’ve looked. Extensively. That’s why I chose Gatorade. I only wish they had more flavors without artificial sweeteners. As an aside if you like tea mixes try the brand 4C. They also have only real sugar and they have some cool flavors to choose from. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

  • Great alternative to liquid IV/BF hydration packets
Flavor Name: Lemon-Lime
I was looking for something with flavor to encourage me to drink more and stay hydrated while I’m breastfeeding. Plain water wasn’t cutting it. I tried liquid IV and DripDrop packets and they worked, but the cost was too much for how much water a breastfeeding mom needs to drink. Then I remembered that Gatorade makes a powdered drink mix. I like that I can adjust the amount of powder based on how much flavor/sweetness I feel like. It’s also WAY easier to store a canister of drink mix than a pack of bottles. With how much I drink it’s also more sustainable to refill my water bottles with this than get a new disposable bottle every time (less to have to throw in the garbage/recycling too). This helped me keep my supply up just as well as the expensive hydration multipliers. I’ll be ordering more flavors soon! ... show more

  • Missing the Scoop
Flavor Name: Glacier Cherry
My husband's favorite flavor, and we were thrilled to find the powder to mix it ourselves - more economical, no waste, no single use plastic bottles. My only disappointment was that there was NO SCOOP INSIDE OUR CANISTER. I poured the entire canister into a large mixing bowl looking for it, and then moved it all back into the canister one soup spoonful at a time. So time for my thinking cap... 1 2/3 tbsp per 12 oz of water = 5 tsp, and I found a spoon here at the house that measures the equivalent and is dishwasher safe. Wish I had the scoop so I could simply store it inside the canister, but this will work. The actual measure and mix is easy with the right size utensil, but I had to reduce my EASY TO USE rating to four stars. Mixing up a quart of Gatorade by measuring 15 tsp (5 tbsp) into a decanter is more time consuming, and finding an equivalent way to measure the right amount was time consuming. 3 scoops would be faster and easier! ... show more

  • Not gonna tell…
Flavor Name: Glacier Freeze
If I tell everyone it’s the best flavor that Gatorade makes and the powder is easy and saves tons of money then it might get too popular. Then everyone will buy it up making it cost more than it does or make it harder to find. So I will keep the fact of how much better this flavor is compared to all other flavors and brands to myself. And I’m definitely not going to say anything about mixing a small amount of tropical fruit flavor of whatever in your cup to really make it pop. Nope not gonna tell. To bad for everyone else, hahaha! ... show more

  • Taste like bottled Gatorade
Flavor Name: Lemon-Lime
Bought this to fill 2 gallon (4 liter) fridge dispenser. Put needed amount in a 40 oz container and use water to dissolve completely before adding it to fridge container and adding water to fill. There is a scoop inside powder that measures enough product to make a quart (1 liter). Easy. Always have cold Gatorade for hubby. ... show more

  • Contrary to other reviews
I added so many photos because I have read so reviews. look and see. They came wrapped in plastic and in a box. I opened it. No spilled powder and no dents. There is a scoop inside, and there are no clumps. It is the exact same size we buy at the store. And we are ready to recycle our bottles!!! Happy camper! This large family goes through about a gallon a day! ... show more

  • A great substitute for the bottled version
Flavor Name: Glacier Freeze
I find this is a very economical substitute for the Gatorade in a bottle. It's not as tasty and I'm sure it's not as rich in minerals either, but it's handy to have around the house as a thirst- quencher esp now that we're experiencing these super high summer temperatures. I pre mix in my water bottle, add ice, then I'm off for the day. ... show more
