  • Easy to set up & works seamlessly with my android phone.
Style: Standard Color: Slate and Shadow Gray
I've been a Fitbit user for years but my Versa 2 quit syncing. I tried a couple of cheaper watches but they were worthless. The Garmin is fantastic, much better than Fitbit. Long lasting battery & charges quickly. Has tons of options for apps and watch faces. I'm super happy with my purchase!

  • Great upgrade for Garmin fitness band wearers
Style: Standard Color: Slate and Shadow Gray
Got this brand new model because my Vivosmart 4 watch band finally broke. I didn't really want to go back to a watch form factor after wearing bands for many years. But this one is super light weight and I can wear it anywhere, even in the water. The battery lasts for days. You can download the Connect IQ app and customize the watch, including adding new features and faces. Interestingly, you can create a custom face in both the IQ app, and on the watch itself, although the options are not the same and results are not consistent. Pros: - Great screen, highly visible in varying light - Good battery life. Much better than the old vivosmart 4, seems like at least a week. - GPS - seems to work well enough on walks/runs I've done. - Nice selection of exercises built in. I've only used walk/run/swim so far. The app has been trying to get me to upload personalized running plans and workouts. Just haven't got to that yet either. - User interface is _mostly_ easy to use, once you figure it out. Cons - Extra info on faces (steps, heartbeat etc), and user interface has very small fonts. It's not a big device after all. But those of us who can't focus up close have a hard time seeing the small things without the glasses - Another weird charger connector. Next version should be able to charge wirelessly. Those other guys do it. - The included band is pretty utilitarian and I already see wear around where the buckle rubs on it. At least it's replaceable with standard sized bands. Overall I am happy with this watch so far. ... show more

  • Great battery life, nice looking
Style: Standard Color: Cool Mint
Garmin is almost synonymous with GPS so it's not too surprising that it works great for tracking my hikes. I wish fitness trackers would come with a choice of watch bands because I appear to be allergic to the silicone material that they all come with. So I always have to order a separate metal band but that happens with every brand of fitness watch. It's very attractive, comes with a wide range of watch faces to choose from that are easy to read, and I can find one that shows me at a glancea all the things that I specifically want to track. This particular version does not have an altimeter, so if that is something you want (I didn't care) you need a different model. One of the best things about it is how long the battery lasts. My old Fitbit would have to be charged every three days. This garmin can easily go for a week or longer. I suppose it depends on what Functions and features you use, and I have only had it for about a month but it seems to go down by only about 7% - 8% /day. It's rated to go 11 days without needing to be charged, and that would not surprise me though I have not been tracking it that closely. ... show more

  • Great Watch, Band is Splitting
Love this watch, tracks sleep, steps, stress. The only problem is the band is splitting after less than a year. If you are active and wear this a lot, buy an extra band. You will need it.

  • A purchase your self will thank you for...
Style: Standard Color: Slate and Shadow Gray
Previously, I bought only Fitbits, but then I stumbled upon Garmin, and bought a Lily. I've since had a Venu 3S and now this watch. In my opinion, Garmin lasts much longer than Fitbits do. Plus, the features are better, and the battery life longer. You do not have to pay for any services either. Or worry about your warranty and a replacement when something happens. Garmin watches actually last.... I bought myself this watch because I liked the interface was larger than my 3S. The band is also comfortable and doesn't irritate my wrist. I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter who was wearing my Lily, and she loves it too. I couldn't wait for Christmas and she got it early! Garmin is a good investment in your health. The watches are a bit more expensive than a Fitbit, but it is worth it. ... show more

  • Perfect for Me!
Style: Standard Color: Slate and Shadow Gray
I'm very happy with this Garmin Smartwatch. I appreciate all the features, and it is very easy to use by this non-techie senior. I already had the Garmin app from a Vivofit so initial setup was a breeze. Watch face is easy to see, looks nice on my wrist, clocks steps and all other activities correctly and even sleep info is right on. Good purchase for me! ... show more

  • Love this Garmin Venu Sq2
Style: Standard Color: Cool Mint
I received this Garmin Venu Sq2 as a birthday gift. In addition to the very pretty mint green color, it is packed with features: Calendar event reminders and texts pop up on it, I can answer phone calls on it, and I replied to a text the other day (from a pre-set list of replies, but it was still great not to have to dig out my phone). The battery life is super long -- at least 5 days between charges. The only con is that I would prefer to have two strap minders instead of just one, but that is a VERY minor drawback. ... show more

  • I have had it for over a year...
It's a great little watch, It won't respond to text or calls but, I love the alerts. I bought it to track my sleep and it's great, also tracks my cycle and I can log my workouts (it's not super specific or 100% accurate but it's good enough) It's water resistant so far but I haven't challenged it to see if it's fully submergeable. The ONLY thing I worry about is the emf's it's putting out. I've recently had wrist pain and weakness around the area it sits, and when I don't wear it for a few days it stops hurting... but I also workout a lot and I'm getting older so WHOKNOWS!! It's taken a beating and the screen is totally fine. ... show more
