I put this fish finder on my kayak and i love it. The images are awesome. Traditional view is great to find where they are at, down view is incredible clear, you can see trees and anything under you. Side view is also awesome and clear. Easy to use and there’s many educational videos on YouTube.

This is a very good transducer, but beware it is susceptible to interference from non-brushless trolling motors. Our MK Terrova will cause interference on the plotter/fish finder when running at times. We've tried moving the grounds and power cables to the TM which gave some improvements, but there's still some interference when using the FF with the TM running. ... show more

Pretty happy with this unit so far (have only had a chance to use it a few times, so still learning - it has a lot more features than my old Garmin unit). Not too hard to install, but I had someone with more experience do it for me. This thing is legit for casual fisherman, my only regret is that I didn’t go the next size larger. Transducer performs well and easily picks up targets. No grainy BS. Easy to see thermocline for Kokanee when tuned correctly. I fish lakes and rivers for salmon, trout & Kokanee. I have about 20 days on the water with this unit so far. ... show more
