I bought several packs of these to edge each of my flower beds to keep the dogs out. It does that without obstructing the view of the landscape. Because they are thin and black, they blend into the mulch. Instead of linking them together, I put about 5 in. of space between each panel. This allowed me to cover more area. I was immediately impressed w/these fencing panels. They're made of steel, or another hard metal & are very sturdy. They're not those thin, almost wire-like fence pieces that will bend out of shape with the slightest pressure. There' s a bit of assembly needed right out of the box but that only takes a few minutes & then you're good to go.
