At 32 inches tall for the panels (the stakes have an extra 8 inches to put in the ground), this barrier is taller than most. I have them surrounding a raised garden bed so the dog won't jump in it to watch the local squirrel and squish my blackberry bushes - it is just tall enough to deter him from jumping in. The panels connect by running the metal stake through loops along the panel sides and into the ground. It is easy to install and the stakes are easy to push into the ground. The curved tops create a scalloped look to the fence that makes it all a bit more stylish than otherwise. The panels are light but sturdy. Of course they won't keep a large dog (or a dog who is a jumper) from getting past if they are really determined, but they will deter most dogs from bothering. ... show more

Ordered these higher panels to block my chickens from going into our neighbor's yard..they worked out perfectly. The panels come with long sticks you use to connect panels with and push into the ground. Overall, they seem sturdy enough but I don't see them withstanding large dogs running into them.

These push in ground fence panels are solid, sturdy and easy to use. The panel stakes are such that they will connect with other push in ground fence panels of similar design. These particular panels are quite tall compared to many others, at 32 inches. The length was as advertised at 11 and a half feet. I would suggest these panels, and think they're great for a pet fence that can be broken down and reorganized. I like to set the dogs up in the shade when I'm going to be working outside, and based on time of day, that can vary. Having a fence product that is temporary and able to be relocated is a great boon for this guy. If it would be for you too, you can't go wrong with this stuff. ... show more

    • Perfect For Adding A Layer Of Protection To Your Fence Or Garden
We recently got a rescue dog and had to install a fence on one end of our yard. Naturally, we've got one of those inquisitive dogs that loves to inspect and find any areas that might be worth digging out for and that's what happened. I wanted to combine this panel with the arched panels by the same vendor to create a rolling edge. Unfortunately the fences didn't line up. These panels are solid construction, but they aren't very tall. They make a good garden border, but deer can easy nibble across. The posts are easy to drive in soft ground, but the area I wanted these in was rocky so it was difficult getting the posts in flush. There was also one loop that had been crushed so the post wouldn't pass through without bending the metal back with pliers. Still, much better quality than many other similar fences. ... show more

This garden fence was much easier to install than it was to get out of the packaging, as it was packaged very well. I liked that each section could be installed separately and you can put an opening at either end, or the middle. By not putting the last post in, the last section hinges like a gate.
