Got this as a gift for my Nephew and he was ecstatic! The build is very nice, with some metal, and strong plastic. As you can see in the photos, its well packaged, with no missing or damaged parts. Very sturdy and so many fun accessories! But no way to turn off the sound. Even my son asked me to take the batteries out because it was to loud and wouldn't stop. Food for thought!

Our little guy loves garbage trucks, and - while finding this truck highly rated - we gave it a shot! It's very well-made with clean, smooth seams and plastic parts on top of a cast-metal cab. (Its weight adds to the enjoyment, I think.) The "garbage cans" that come with it are similarly well-made, and add to the fun of loading and dumping random bits around the house into the body. This was a gift for my son for Christmas. His Dad works for the trash company and he wants to be just like him! The truck is metal on the cab and plastic on the body. It comes with 4 curbside style trash cans and a commercial trash dumpster. The lift in front of the truck works and will raise the commercial style dumpster to empty contents if you chose to put any in it. The lights turn on and the truck makes noise.
