I hate having to use readers. I constantly lose them, find them broken in my purse, stepped or sat on etc. so I’m constantly replacing them. I’ve bought cheapo ones from the dollar store as well as higher end pairs from actual glasses shops. Imho with as frequently as you have to take them on and off, it doesn’t make much sense to pay top dollar for readers. I was very much looking for quantity when I bought these so I could throw a pair in the car, keep one at my desk, etc. and wasn’t expecting much in terms of quality at roughly 3.60 a pair. I was actually very surprised at how nice these are. The frames are thin but sturdy, the arms aren’t stiff or feel like they will snap easily, they are stylish looking, and the colors are very pretty. I love the cat eye style because the lenses are large and fit over your whole eye. I hate the small lenses on a lot of readers but if you prefer balancing them at the end of your nose so you can look over them you can still do that with these as well. There was a cute chain, cleaning cloth, and pouches for each pair included as well as a little card detailing how to go about requesting a refund or resend if there were any problems. For less than 20$ I am quite happy with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this brand again. ... show more

I loved these glasses, the shape is very nice, the colors are beautiful, I got many compliments on them. I lost the purple ones, which were my favorite, so I ordered another set. The green one in the 2nd set came already broken. Too much hassle to return them all for the one broken, so I kept them. Since then, two more have broken, all break in the same spot, where the arms meet the glasses, one of the small plastic pieces that holds the screw together breaks, so the arm falls. I ordered this 5 pack set from Gaoye on Amazon. It arrived, with one pair of glasses broken in the box. I returned the set via UPS (which in itself was a hassle). The new set arrived 2 days ago, this time with TWO pairs broken in the box. I don't have the time or bandwidth to go through the return process again. Suffice to say, I think these glasses are cheap and badly made. I would like a refund, but the hassle of returning is making me just throw my hands up in defeat. ... show more
