unfortunately this case unlike other ZeroLemon products does not perform up to the specifications that are advertised. I use this to charge my note 9 from 16% to 100 the indicators on the back we're still lighting up three out of four when I went back to charge it again at 16% it only charge it up about 35% meaning that it is far below the 5000mah capacity that is advertised. Also it is to be noted that I charge the phone while it is turned off so there should be no power drain while it was charging. I've reached out to ZeroLemon to sheet if there is an issue with their current sourcing for batteries and I will update this review as needed I would also like to point out that the same issue is happening for the 10000mah battery pack almost identically it should provide two full charges from 0% unfortunately the only thing that ended up happening was one full charge and the indicators on the back showing three out of four and then a second charging from 0% only going to approximately 70% before stopping the charge. This is closer and performance that would be expected from 10000mah but still not up to the standards that I expect from this company as with the other case I have contacted ZeroLemon and we'll be updating this review as needed Update:11/13 It seems that the 10000 MAH case is performing as advertised even though the numbers still don't add up. They advertise it being a 10000 MAH case and the note 9 being a 4000 MAH device therefore with the 10000 MAH case you should be able to charge it 2 times completely and still have approximately 20 to 30% left to charge. At the time of this update the case is only charging it from 0 while the devices off to a 100% one time and then from 0 again while the devices off up to 71% and depleting the case entirely this means that the case is actually only 6800 MAH not 10000. And the 5000 MAH case is now working even worse than before from a full charge I cannot even get 90% charge to my device from a fully charged case and a 0% device. At the time of this update I fully charged the case for approximately 13 Hours and then charge my phone from 0% while it was off after the case was completely depleted I only had 83% on my device while it was still off. I don't know if I got A bad case but I am actively engaged with zerolemon to see if this is a defect or does something that needs to be rectified in another way further updates to follow. Update number 3 November 14th 2018 I have uploaded a 7photo to Amazon I'm not sure it's going to show however I have now heard back from ZeroLemon concerning the 5,000 milliamp hour battery case. By their own admission due to the circuitry inside the case that controls voltage charging your phone you will not get 5,000 milliamp hours worth of power out of the battery to go into your phone it will only charge your phone to 85% so in the fact they are being very sketchy in their description of their product the 10000 milliamp hour case will provide you only with 1.7 charges from zero if your phone is turned off while charging nothing more ever. The 5000 milliamp hour battery case will not provide your phone with a full charge but only up to approximately 80 to 83% nothing more ever. Currently they have asked me to send my case back and they're sending me a replacement but I am not expecting any different performance so while this still may be the best battery case on the market currently for the note 9 it is nowhere near what they're advertising essentially you are only being given 60 800mah for the 10000mah case and you are given 2800 mah for the 5000mah case buyer beware this is extremely misleading! Okay another update as of November 21st I have received my replacement ZeroLemon 5000mah case and I will be charging it and testing it again. However I have already found a case that is $10 less on Amazon and also has built-in wireless charging for the case and phone and at this point actually appears to perform slightly better as it seems to charge the phone to approximately 90% from 0 while the phone is off. I'll update this review as information comes in Update December 1st 2018 I have received the replacement from ZeroLemon and it is performing the same it gives you approximately 83% if your phone is at zero charge and is turned off. Repeat Zerolemon buyer here. This case is a great upgrade over the old case. It allows file transfer & fast charging support which is a major bonus. The case isn't really that bulky and adds some juice for when you need it. Its very slim and doesn't have much added bulk at all on the top & bottom where the charging port it. The top has a bit more elastic rubber to allow you to remove the case a little easier. Its made of a smooth material that doesn't seem it will leave fingerprints on it, so it should stay clean! There are lots of reviews here picking apart this case. I think before I start my review, it's important to mention thst similar battery cases (fit, finish, durability) goes for atleast triple the price of a zero lemon. Thats pretty darn sweet. 5,000 MAH. What does that mean for your beloved note 9? It should translate to a barely charged device (0 to 100 with no use) and 0 to 50% with heavy use. At 40 bucks, 5000 MAH doesn't feel like a brick. It fits the phone so well, having the bulk being proportional on the back. The finger print sensor is easy to reach, the power, Bixby and volume buttons are clicky and function well. The overall case has four LED lights indicating the juice left in the case. I like the overall lights, design and function of this case over the note 8 case that I had a a year ago (by far). At 40 dollars, you can safely say that your phone will last atleast two days. I don't leave this case on my phone at all times. I make sure it's charged and carry it in my backback during my daily commute for work. If I'm low and don't feel like plugging my note 9 in, I slap this case on and carry throughout my day. I own many portable chargers, cases, bricks and cables. I've used and tested them all. Nothing beats a case like this. Though big, it's convenient and integrates easily for whatever your doing. Wow is all I can say! If you ever are going camping for multiple days this little gem keeps you charged. It fits the Note 9 like a glove and offers some light protection but still feels natural when holding it in your hand. While in your pocket it is obviously larger so it doesn't feel quite as nice as a bare phone. The charge through function is handy so you can charge both while driving ect. Zerolemon hit the mark on this one. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs lots of battery life. The connector is a nice tight fit too. ... show more
