  • Works for intended purpose.
Is good backpack have bought military backpacks foe a while because of it can carry allot and is spacious with good materials sturdiness. I usually use my backpack to carry groceries since walk to the store instead of driving kinda of my exercise. The most I usually carry on this bad boys is about 50 or so pounds. They do support well but cause I usually use often i needed new ones. I still have my previous one and is still good and I had that back pack for about 1.5yrs now. But as a precaution I got new ones they sturdy and well built. And remember I use them often and carry heavy groceries most of the time at least about 4 to 6 times at week. And backpack going still strong so I do recommend. ... show more

  • Definitely great quality for a low price
Pros: You can store alot of gear and I MEAN A LOT OF GEAR. The expandable zippered compartment pouches, great design. The webbing and stitching very strong with the gear I have in it. Cons: once gear is loaded ,you will need another person to help you align the shoulder straps so the waist belt sits where it is supposed to, and the shoulder straps are the proper height. Overall once you have the shoulder straps where they need to be and the waist belt attached, You are definitely one unit, The pack moves with you and does not throw your balance off. You can even run with it, without any difficulty. ... show more

  • Awesome product
I bought this because sometimes I stay out of town for work but never know what days. This backpack allows me to pack a toothbrush and an extra set of clothes and still have room for work related gloves, safety, glasses, and etc. It’s not crazy comfortable like the high end military issued backpacks. Definitely worth the money though. ... show more

  • Meh
I'be had a few of these styled backpacks in various sizes over the years. I like this one the least of all. The shoulder-straps are garbage; they twist and they are plain uncomfortable. Oh yeah... and so I slipped a 3/8 breaker-bar in the map pocket (yeah I know a breaker-bar isn't a map but it also isn't sharp) and the breaker bar ripped right through the lower corner of the map pocket. Now it's got a hole. Sure I coulld put a map in there. The zippers seem ok. I'm already in the market for a new backpack. I'll update this in a month or so. ... show more

  • Sturdy - keep sharp objects out!
This bag is a solid purchase. The material used is strong. The stitching is strong as well. Just made the mistake of putting a sharp object without it's protective sheath in my first bag. Clearly cut through after miles of trekking so I purchased a bigger second one, THIS ONE and it's a VERY good bag. Just keep your sharp items out of the bag. It also rained on us a bit and my items were kept dry! The zipper system is sturdy. It's a well crafted bag. ... show more

  • High Quality with Amazing Storage!!!
I was looking for a backpack that would allow me to carry what I needed for a day out on the trails whether alone or with my family, and I found it. This G4Free Tactical Backpack provides me the storage capacity to keep all of my gadgets with me, along with food and other essentials. It also allows me the store any layers of clothing I need to shed or bring along due to the ever-changing micro-climates of the Bay Area. The construction of the backpack is solid, with nice quality zippers. The straps and back panel are nicely padded and comfortable, and the MOLLE system allows me to keep my EDC items close to hand and easily accessible. ... show more

  • Excellent bag for survival
This bag is all function and no comfort. If you’re going out to the wilderness for a few weeks and need a backpack equivalent of a Swiss Army knife, the will help you go a long way. The insulated compartment is clutch and extremely useful for intense hikes. All the straps makes for good configurations of things to carry even outside your bag. If you’re a casual traveler looking for something that can fit a weekend’s worth of clothes and necessities, this is not for you. The straps are very uncomfortable because they’re only padded halfway, then it’s just a thin strap. This bag is BIG! It won’t fit under most airplane seats. Overall, I can see the benefits of having this bag if you absolutely needed it (say in the middle of Yosemite and the sun is going down), but if you’re using it for day-to-day or casual traveling I’d suggest a comfier option. ... show more
