Ordering 3XL is hit or miss for me, but this shirt fit perfect (I'm 5' 11", 285 lbs). At first I though the hood was way too big, until I put on my ballcap, and it was perfect. This shirt will give me great coverage out in the sun. I like the little zippered side pocket, which will securely hold my ID & a little cash so I don't have to have my wallet on me the whole time. I wasn't sure about the thumb cutouts at first, but now that I've tried the out, they will work great to keep my sleeves in place under my gloves. Long sleeve UPF 50+ sun shirts are a big MUST HAVE this summer with record-setting temps predicted. I have a ton of projects I plan to tackle in the yard and unfortunately it's only going to get hotter out there. This sun shirt includes the all important hoodie, and I am telling you right now it makes a huge difference to put the hood up and protect the back of your neck. Bonus points for the fun minty green color. The color matches exactly as the listing photos show, my selfie camera just did not capture the color correctly. The stitching is very well done and solid throughout, including the double stitch at the hemline *chef's kiss* The sleeves include thumb holes, which I found help to keep the sleeves from riding up my arms while working. However that's when I noticed the first oddity: the left sleeve cuff opening was just slightly smaller and tighter than the right one. The stitching doesn't allow for a lot of stretch so it's even more noticeable that one sleeve cuff is way tighter than the other, especially when I try to roll up the sleeves. There's one breast pocket on the left which is not uncommon, but there's also only one zippered pocket on the lower right which makes no sense to me. It's also located right along the side seam so it's a bit further back than I'm used to for just tucking my hand in the pocket. I'm sure these were design choices someone made, but they just seem sorta strange. ... show more
