Product is very cheap. Within the first hour of using, the tow hook snapped off the back of a truck. Later that day, the other tow hook snapped off the second truck. The following day, the motor snapped off the boat. My son loves cars and takes care of them and is not a rough player so the fact that three of the 4 pieces broke in less than 48 hours says a lot. I liked the size of the cars and trucks but quality is extremely poor. ... show more

I had read the review that mentioned the towing pieces break easily, but decided to try anyway. The review was correct. The connections are difficult and if your child (understandably) wants to attach and unattach the hitches they do not last long. I did find that Loctite glue has a plastic bonding system product that worked at least for now. ... show more

Pros: trucks are metal and feel like they are not cheap. Cons: truck hitch is terrible and the reason I can't recommend this as a kids toy. Within 2 days (bday gift) the first set of trucks had a broken hitch on 1 vehicle and the 2nd was almost broken off. Second set of trucks recieved the next day after asking for a replacement. 1 truck had the hitch caught in the plastic housing worries I might break on removal. Kids played for about 4hrs, hitch pin broke off 1 of the trucks. Take away: good if trucks sold by themselves but with the trailers and terrible hitch design I can't recommend as a toy for kids as it's prone to breaking easily. Using a solid plastic hitch instead of the design they have or a metal hitch would of been a far better design. ... show more
