We have two young labrador retrievers and live in a neighborhood that does not allow fences. They are good dogs but still a bit impulsive if they want to say hello to people and other dogs so we always had to have them tethered when they were outside. The FXW garden fence has allowed us to enclose a portion of our yard so that they can have some freedom to roam in and out of the house. It has made our lives easier and the dog's lives more pleasurable. The fence is very easy to set up and is sturdy enough. My only complaint is that the poles that hold the fence panels in place could go deeper into the ground but overall this has not been an issue. We ordered this to keep our dog out of our big planting area in our yard. We were tired of constantly bathing and washing her and trying to refill all the big, deep holes! We ordered this and it's really easy to put up. The connectors work really well, and the poles are long enough to really secure the fence. In fact, we ended up ordering a six piece section that includes a gate and just finished putting it all up today. Very fast and easy to install. This is not a heavy duty fence however. It does look nice and works as planned. I can remove a section to get lawn mower through and replace it in moments. I had to get a fence for my loveable rescue dog. He was good for a bit roaming the yard but all of a sudden started running into the street and running after people. I didn't have the money for an expensive fence, and I was reading that the vinyl no dig ones were very flimsy. So, I came across this option and decide to try it. Now, my dogs are 15-20 pounds and are nosey barkers but will not push against it or jump on it. The fence is sturdy and has held up to high winds and winter weather so far, but then again this has been a mild winter. Very happy with this affordable fence. Very easy to install. The only thing I don't like is the gate part and that the door only opens up part of the gate. But the landscapers can get through just by picking up the metal posts moving the fence pieces. Its a good temporary solution for my lil crazy dog and I am happy that he can roam around the yard safely. ... show more

I use this fence as a barrier between parts of my rotted wood fence and the yard. It works extremely well for this. This fence is also sturdy enough to contain well-behaved or small to medium sized dogs when assembled in a circular pattern. I believe that large, strong determined dogs, that do not wish to be enclosed, could knock parts of this fence down without an issue (which is why I only awarded three stars in the Sturdiness category); however, for my needs, it works extremely well and this is the second unit that I have purchased.
